AH-AU. Rebekah asks a favor that turns out to be kind of life changing (life ruining?) for Caroline. Living with a temporarily broke Kol is one thing. A really, really annoying thing. And then Klaus is suddenly always around, planted on her couch, drinking her wine and adding snarky commentary which Caroline DOES NOT appreciate. Mikaelson's and boundaries apparently did not mix.

The witch king, Silas, yearns for the heart of the Petrova doppelganger and is enraged when Caroline tricks herself in Elena's place. Grieving for his little brother, Klaus gives up himself to get him back and is ensnared within Silas' trap. Both are birds within Silas' cage and once the witches have you, they don't like to let you go. / klaroline.

In the once-great city of Limos, the unbearable heat of the sun is as furious as Rebekah's anger at being chained. This whole mate thing was pretty inconvenient, in Caroline's personal opinion. The fact that said mate was Klaus "I tried to kill your best friend for a creepy ritual" Mikaelson made it even worse.
