Author has written 4 stories for Kim Possible, Infinite Stratos/IS<インフィニット・ストラトス>, Red vs. Blue, Godzilla, RWBY, and My Little Pony.
Hello Dear Fanfiction reader and welcome to my profile. If you happen to have come here before and seen the poor excuse of an intro I used before, feel free to weep for me. Anywho, here is the new intro, which will be longer, more informative, and 120% cooler. The reason why I'm updating my intro is because I'm going to be doing much more as a writer on this site from now on and I want that to reflected here. On to the Info!
Name: Depends on the story (smack!) Ow! Okay fine. Shane Morgan James.
Age: 20 (15 at heart)
Hobbies: Reading, Writing, and Videogames. Quite the healthy trinity don't you think?
Infinite Madness:World changing events can often come from the strangest of sources. They don't get much stranger than a 14-year old pink-haired Japanese girl who happens to be a genius programmer and scientist. But there is no denying the mark she has made. An Artificial Intelligence core that makes modern day supercomputers look like pocket calculators from the 90's that can also bond with a human to create a machine that obsoletes almost everything about how war is thought simply by existing? It sounds to good to be true. Well it kinda is. Only women are capable of bonding with the cores and the creator has forbade their use in military combat with each other. Talk about a cockblock huh? For 10 years afterward the world adapts to it new reality, and everything seems fine. Then some kid from 30 years ago accidentally gets warped to their time and becomes the first male IS pilot. Let the Madness begin!
This is my first major story for this site, and started from me imagining what would happen if the main character of Infinite Stratos, Ichika Orimura, were not a complete dunce in social interactions. From there it grew into a fully fledged analysis of this new world and examining how it could possibly make sense in real life. Please note that this story will be mostly focused on comedy and the romance (whatever form that will take) rather than outside conflict. There may still be some, but it won't be the focus. Fret not though, I like the IS mechs FAR too much to marginalize them.
Progress: Chapter 5 posted, Chapter 6 in progress.
Hermione Granger and the Girl Who Lived: “The one with the Power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches… Born to those he hath declared his lesser, born as the ninth month dies… And the Dark Lord will mark them as his equal, but they will have a power the Dark Lord knows not… And either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives ... The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the ninth month dies…’
If you guys happen to have a look at my favorite stories list, you will see that the majority of them are from the Harry Potter series. I, like many in my generation, grew up reading the series and love to read deeper into the world the JK's fans have so vastly expanded. At first when I wanted to write my own Harry Potter fanfiction I despaired of finding an original idea to use. The fandom is so vast. What is there that hasn't been done? Then I realized something. In practically every story I read, Harry is always the Boy-Who-Lived. Those rare times he was not, it was either someone directly related to him or it was Neville, the other boy the prophecy could have applied to. That got me thinking. What if someone else was the subject of the prophecy? But who to chose? That took all of two seconds to decide. How will the Wizarding World react when it learns that it was saved from the Dark Lord by the one year old daughter of a pair of ordinary muggles? Oh the possibilities. Time to rub my hands with glee.
Templates: Global Justice has been the successful long arm of the United Nations for decades, thwarting the efforts of terrorists, criminals, and super villians alike with an apparent ease. But crime fighting is not all they do. Technology can be just as dangerous as whole armies, and must be carefully watched for danger. Mad scientists are often the source of the most threatening designs, and so GJ makes sure that their tech is grabbed as soon as possible and analyzed for possible misuse. But there are so many ways that this latest tech can go wrong that some at GJ wonder just how the blue-skinned buffoon managed to get off so easily. It may have something to do with his green haired accomplice's contract, which GJ has unknowingly violated with their two test subjects.
Come on GJ, you guys should know better than to clone people without permission. Particularly when one of them is at the very top of your most dangerous thief's list and the other is your golden girl poster child. Course they're not complete idiots. They had the foresight at least to swap the clones' genders so that they would be difficult to notice. That inevitable meeting will be a whole lot of fun won't it?
Progress: Chapter 1 in progress.
Monters versus Angels: The First Civilization liked order. Ever since they had risen to power as the first sentient civilization to reach the stars, they have enjoyed bringing order to the chaos of the universe. Expanding themselves by seeding new life on far flung worlds, they held full authority of all they surveyed. Until one millennium they discovered a planet that did not behave according to expectations. Life had sprung up there on its own, an event unprecedented since the First Civilization's own origin billions of years ago. And in their ignorance of this possibility will grow something they had never expected. Resistance.
It's Godzilla versus Evangellion. What more do you need to know? Okay a bit more detail then. This version of Earth has been the site of pretty much every Godzilla movie in the series (bar a few nonsensical ones) and humanity is well adapted to kaiju already. The question isn't whether or not the Angels will win, its who will take them down. Humanity's hyper advanced anti-kaiju superweapons, or the King of the Monsters himself? Them Angels may think they're Cthulu, but Earth is the goddamn Devil.
Clash of the Titans: It was supposed to be a routine mission. Warp out of Celestial to a newly discovered planet 86 lightyears away and begin colonization efforts. Easiest mission in the world. What could possibly go wrong? Then the war decides to rear it's ugly head and throw the ultimate monkey wrench into that plan. Now we're stranded in an undiscovered galaxy untold trillions of light years away from home with no idea how to get back. The good news is that we have a planet that we can use to gather resources for a new warp gate. Bad news is that the planet is somehow familiar. It's Earth, but not the Earth we know. Here humans are on brink of extinction from an endless force of giant creatures the likes of which we have never seen before. The odds of us finding a way back home are nearly incalculable. Us being able to help these other humans is in severe doubt. The question on everyone's mind is: "What the hell do we do now?"
Attack on Titan/Titanfall Crossover. It pretty easy to see how the idea for this one came about. They both share a name for their giants after all. Sadly I have yet to either watch Attack on Titan (I'm a well informed anime noob for all intents and purposes) or play Titanfall (lack of a next gen console or the spare money for the PC version). Hopefully I'll be able to rectify this by Christmas and the Meat vs Metal fight can begin.
