Author has written 7 stories for Lion King.

Hello, dear readers! This is Anonymous13 B reporting from somewhere on Planet Earth. I have been reviewing for a long time under the name "anonymous13" but I finally decided to make my own account and thus needed a more unique username. On this page you will find a series called The Lion King Tales, starring Simba, Nala, Scar, and all the other beloved characters amongst a vast collection of new friends and foes. Below is a character list.

Here is the link to my SoundCloud profile. You will find numerous voice-acting endeavors, most of which have something to do with TLK! I also have the rare honor of being Tojo's official voice actor!

Also, another extremely important thing: The single greatest author on this website, possibly in the entire world, the beloved ThatPersonYouMightKnow, has started a series of published books - the unique and astounding spectacle known as the Flight series! Here is the link to them:

Series Status: When a new foe appears in the Pride Lands, it's up to Simba and his friends to stop the intruder from destroying all carnivorous life.

Simba: The heroic yet overconfident prince of the Pride Lands. He is the de facto leader of the cubs, and is always looking for adventure. He is close to all of his friends, but his strongest bonds are with Nala and Mufasa.

Nala: Simba’s beautiful girlfriend, and princess of the Pridelands. In addition to her great beauty, she possesses the purest soul on the planet, which comes in handy when she has to resolve the all-too-frequent arguments between the other cubs.

Mheetu: Nala’s younger brother, Mheetu is a double-sided cub. On one hand, he worships his older sister and will do anything to help her, yet he is a craven slimeball who only supports Simba because the latter’s marriage to Nala will mean that he enjoys royal status as the queen’s brother. But for all of his faults, Mheetu is loyal and will stick by his sister, and anyone she asks him to aid as well.

Chumvi: Simba’s goofy yet lovable best friend. Chumvi is the jokester who can’t take anything seriously, yet he will stand by Simba and the others no matter what.

Kula: Chumvi’s girlfriend, Kula is lazy and only thinks about eating. Despite this, she has a very slim build, and is often mistaken for Nala’s sister.

Tama: A grouchy and irritable cub, Tama is easily the sourest member of the group. She hates Simba yet wants him as her boyfriend, and is completely oblivious to the fact that Tojo loves her.

Tojo: The clumsy one of the group, Tojo is extremely cautious yet has a tendency to get himself injured. Tojo is kind and compassionate, and he is often the best source of comfort besides Nala. He loves Tama, yet helps her in her plans to woo Simba. He also has a collection of pet birds, which are often the target of Simba's hunting practices, leading to conflicts between the two cubs.

Malka: Another cub that hails from a distant pride, Malka thinks of Simba as a brother, yet is desperately in love with Nala. He tries to keep this in check, but some of the group’s enemies will not hesitate to use this weakness for their own ends.

Mufasa: Simba’s mighty father and the king of the Pridelands. Despite his massive strength and intimidating presence, Mufasa is a playful and compassionate father, only turning stern when matters become serious.

Sarabi: Simba’s mother, and Mufasa’s queen. She loves embarrassing her son at every turn, yet is always there to provide motherly advice.

Sarafina: Nala’s mother, who looks almost identical to her daughter. Sarafina was the cubhood sweetheart of Scar, but she left him when his heart began to darken.

Zazu: A stuffy, nervous hornbill who is Mufasa’s majordomo as well as the resident cub-sitter. He dislikes the cubs’ mischievous natures, and appears to envy their youthfulness and energy. He has a friendly rivalry with Simba, and is genuinely afraid of Mheetu.

Rafiki: The wise yet somewhat-crazy baboon, Rafiki is usually called upon as a doctor or soothsayer, and it is he who relays old legends to the cubs.

Scar: Mufasa’s scheming brother, as well as Simba’s uncle/archenemy. Scar appears to be Simba’s friend and mentor, and is always working behind the scenes, getting his family, hyenas, or other villains to perform evil tasks for him.

Zira: A deranged lioness who acts as Scar’s mate, although his true affections lie with Sarafina. This has lead to Zira possessing a burning hatred of her rival, and she has vowed to make sure the purer lioness suffers.

Nuka and Vitani: Scar and Zira’s cubs. Nuka is a neurotic and unhealthy cub, while Vitani possesses the most formidable traits of both of her parents. Nuka often acts as Vitani’s henchman.

Hyenas: Scar’s loyal minions, the hyenas live in the Elephant Graveyard. Shenzi is the leader of the clan, with Banzai and Ed as her attendants.

Atak: A cub that arrives in the Pridelands and attempts to take Nala as his mate. But there may be more to Atak than meets the eye…

Khara: A muscular and suave orange-red lion, Khara is the lord of the Jungle Pride, and wishes to find the means to conquer the Pridelands as well. He and Scar are close allies, yet possess a bitter, competitive rivalry, as each constantly tries to one-up the other.

Mambara: An evil golden cobra who feeds on fear. He takes whatever his victims fear most and makes them real, making him a fearsome opponent for the cubs.

One-Eye: A scheming leopard with a slash on his left eye, One-Eye uses a hyena, vulture and wild dog to help him hunt. He desires to be the greatest predator in the kingdom, and thus plans to eliminate the lions.

Mortolo: A ruthless gorilla who schemes to drive out the lions and conquer the Pride Lands. Mortolo is cruel and without remorse, perfectly willing to kidnap and murder cubs to get his way.

Ibada and Sheeta: Sheeta is a female cub who wants Simba, and her brother Ibada encourages it due to having the same motive as Mheetu. They are evil and ruthless, and will aid any villains in their plans in exchange for the promise of power.

Tembo: A proud and supercilious bull elephant, Tembo believes that elephants are superior to all creatures on Earth, including lions, and seeks to prove his point by cleansing the Pridelands of all carnivorous life.

Mada: A cub who got his first taste of violence after killing two teenage lions that attacked him, Mada roams from pride to pride, killing the strongest lions he can find in order to demonstrate his own power. He views Mufasa as the ultimate opponent, and knows that if he kills the mighty king, the entire world will fear him.

Favorite species

Lions, of course

Favorite group (Pridelanders, outlanders, etc),

Favorite TLK videogame (besides the Pride Lands levels of KH)

I'm not a video game player. Sorry.

Funniest moment

I've Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts

Saddest moment

Do I really need to answer that?

Scariest moment

Be Prepared(Korean). That guy is INSANE!

Happiest moment

Most of the original film

Which of the trilogy is your fav.

The original, of course

Do you consider the sequels and/or TLK6NA canon

Yes. I think the Six New Adventures take place after Simba's Pride

What do you think of the Kimba controversy

I talked to a guy who did music for the film, and he simply said that a filmmaker's job is to be inspired by what came before rather than reinventing the wheel. He had not heard of Kimba itself, however.

Pet peeves you have (one for each movie),

The cruder moments with Pumbaa throughout the series(couldn't they have put that into Pocahontas instead?)

Vitani's sudden change to a good guy, which needed a lot more explanation

The botching of "Can't Wait To Be King" and "Be Prepared" in 1 1/2

Crack pairings you've heard of

I prefer to block them out of my mind...

Do you want another sequel (if so, involving what)

It might be nice to see more of Nala and Simba's cub hood, but the much-demanded film on Mufasa and Taka would be nice too

Could Scar really be Kovu's father

Nope, they outright deny it in the film

Could Vitani or Nuka be Scar's?

Yes to both of them

Is Kovu emo?

I don't think so

Do you think Zazu is obnoxious?

Not really. As lovable as Simba and Nala are, his perspective is relatable

Do you believe the Timon/Pumbaa thing?

Was Simba too overprotective in the sequel?

Yes, but the poor guy's been psychologically damaged for most of his life, so it makes sense

Is Kiara truly a ditz?

I used to think so, but not as much anymore

What do you think happened to the hyenas after LK 1?

I always figured they were all wiped out by that massive flame

What did you think of the Timon and Pumbaa series?

Have not yet seen it

Do you believe in the Shenzi/Banzai theory?

Do you think it could ever tie into other Disney movies (if so, which ones)?

Jungle Book(perhaps). Shere Khan and Scar are easily Disney's best villains

What's up with Nala's eye color?

I see it as a continuity error on the part of the animators

Thing the makers changed that you wish they hadn't?

It might have been nice to see more of Scar's reign

Have you seen TLKoB (if so, did you like it)

Yes, and while I believe it to be vastly inferior to the film, it is still a spectacular experience

Do you like anthro/human/AU's

Voice actors you loved

All of them were perfect fits, but a few really do stand out:

Jeremy Irons is possibly the best actor on the face of the planet, and he truly excelled in the role of Scar/Taka

Jonathan Taylor Thomas really nailed the role of Cub Simba

James Earl Jones was amazing as Mufasa

Both Niketa Calame and Moira Kelly deserve praise for their work as Nala

Did you know Jim Cummings (voice of Ed) covered for Jeremy Irons (voice of Scar) at the end of "Be Prepared"?

That man can imitate anybody

Do you consider Scar/Zira to be an official pairing?

Someone fathered Nuka and Vitani

What do you think happened to Sarabi in the second movie?

Most likely deceased

Do you think Scar is Nala's father?

Do you think Ed is mentally challenged?

The filmmakers said he may actually be smart, so who knows?

Own any TLK merchandise?

The movies, a couple books, several small figures dating from the late 90s, the Talking Simba from Hasbro, and formerly, a Timon and Pumbaa mousepad

Were the hyenas' actions justified?

In some ways

Were Scar's actions justified?

He had a rough childhood, but it didn't excuse his atrocities

Were Zira's actions justified?

That woman's more insane than the Joker

Why do you think the Outlanders were still loyal to Scar?

They seem to have been mislead by Zira

Crossovers you like?

I enjoy most crossovers

Do you find Timon and Pumbaa enjoyable or annoying?

The best king or king-to-be.

Simba and Scar

The best queen or queen-to-be

Timon or Pumbaa?

Timon, Nathan Lane is hilarious

Kiara or Kopa?

Kopa, he has the innate coolness of his dad and great-uncle

Scar or Mufasa?

Scar, though Mufasa is much more likeable

Simba or Kovu?

Simba, easily

Scar or Zira?

Scar, of course

Simba or Zira?

Simba or Scar?

Kiara or Nala?

Nala, beyond any shadow of a doubt

Mufasa or Simba?

In terms of adults, Mufasa. If we include cubs, then Simba

Zazu or Gopher?

Zazu. That gopher's barely in the movie!

Shenzi or Banzai or Ed?

They're all special in their own ways

Ma or Uncle Max?

I suppose Ma

Sarabi or Sarafina?

Rafiki or Zazu?

Simba/Nala or Mufasa/Sarabi?

Shenzi/Banzai or Shenzi/Ed?

Scar/Zira or Scar/Nala?

I like both pairings

Sarafina/Scar or Shenzi/Scar?

Kovu/Kiara or Vitani/Kopa?

Vitani/Kopa(although I think Vitani would have been an adult when Kopa was born)

Describe the movie in three words
