Author has written 37 stories for Sherlock, Thor, and Harry Potter.
Hey there, I'm Imogen.
I love words. Like, a lot. I write poetry, some fiction.
My obsession with romance is housed here, as my poetry is dark and my original fiction, even darker.
My fic is very stream-of-consciousness. That's not to say it's cryptic...more like I've taken FID to a ridiculous level. I work A LOT from prompts. Not so much an idea gal, more a see-it-through lady. Ask my husband. Ships:
BBC Sherlock: Sherlolly, Mollcroft (though less so)
Harry Potter: Harmony
I am a huge fan of the Byronic hero, and usually pen my protagonist men in kind. I love some angst coupled with healthy sarcasm, so I generally categorize my stories as "general," sometimes "drama," but you should know that sarcastic comments find their way into my dialogues. I love a strong, equally intelligent and sarcastic woman to stand alongside Mr. Byron. And I always write romances, almost always a happy ending, and any typos or errors you find are purely my fault because I am too lazy to seek Beta help.
You can, if you're interested, follow me on Tumblr. I am poetattemptsfiction. Incidentally, I am, first and foremost, a poet, which is why I occasionally write in verse in my stories here.
Many of my titles come from Shakespeare. I love the Bard without restraint, and shamelessly borrow his honey phrases.
And of course: I own nothing. Very nearly literally. Just this iPad.
Updates on unfinished stories (8/24/15)
Sigyn: chapter 4 updated.
To Catch a Ripper: (Formally "Us and Them,") This came out of no where. I'm not sure how long this will be, how often I'll be updating (though a few times a week seems likely). I read a book on Jack the Ripper, and BOOM. (Also, JaninaM8 wrote her own Ripper story and I became obsessed, and there it is).
Becoming Hermione: Not certain when I will get to this, but I hope to update it before summer's end.
Action is Eloquence: About 5 chapters left.
I still would like to write a sequel to "When Loki Met Jane," as well as a possible interpretation of "As Good As it Gets." We'll see.
Thank you so much for reading my attempts at storytelling!
