Author has written 1 story for Merlin.
OK, so to whom this may concern...
Nah, that's too doctor-formal.
Nope. Too plain.
Opens up some translator on her phone*
здравствуйте! Bonjour! Hola! Buon giorno! こんにちは (konichiwa)! γειά σου! Guten Tag! 여보세요 (annyeonghaseyo)! Olá! 你好 (ni hao)! AND FINALLY...hello!
OK- that was some hard work I just did, using controlC and controlV. Whew! Anyway, that's all the ways to say(or write) "hello" in Russian, French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Greek, German, Korean, Portugese, Chinese, and English, respectively. How many could you name?
Anyway, so I'm CherryAmes15...
Audience: What? No! Who would've guessed?!
OK, fine. If you knew that, give yourself a lollipop. And if you didn't, uh, well...I'm CherryAmes15.
Anyway, well, a bit about myself. I'm more of a reader, not a writer, but I do plan to write something and post it. I love Merlin fanfics, especially the ones by Emachinescat, who is like, my favorite author. I also really like Anne-Lillian. (They're both from Merlin.) Anyway, so I guess it's clear to see that I really like Merlin, and I do, but the series has ended and I nearly drowned myself in tears so I'm just gonna drop that topic. *sniffles*
My favorite book, like ever, is My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult. That book is just so...beautiful. It speaks to the soul. I'm sure that there are people who would disagree with me, and that's absolutely fine (no it's not). In fact, I love all Picoult's books- I think they're so great and they address many contemporary issues. Other good books on my list include:
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
Hamlet by William Shakespeare (it's a play, but whatever, and really, Shakespeare is pretty awesome until you start overanalyzing)
1984 by George Orwell (oh, and Animal Farm-seriously, "all animals are equal, but some are more equal than others", ha!)
Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck
Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe
Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins (just the first one "I volunteer as tribute!")
The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie
Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen
There's a bunch more, but I'm probably boring you to death right now. OK, that's it for now, have a nice day.
