Hey! I'm Dusty! I'm 15, my birthday is on Sep.25, I like a lot of Nintendo games, and I'm broke as hell!
I've been busy! Splatoon 2 is coming and I don't have a Nintendo Switch yet!
I'm an artist, as some of you know, so I've been posting my works online! (Too shy to do commissions, though!)
I'm available on:
Tumblr (Personal): dustytoonlink
Tumblr (Art-Only): chubbydust
And I have a Ko-Fi! Please donate to me if you like my writing! My Ko-fi is DustyToonLink but if you type in the URL for the website and after the slash put 'doosty' you should see me! (I'm trying to save up for a Nintendo Switch and Splatoon!)
Please give me a follow if you want! I love you all! (just realized fanfiction hates links OOPS sorry yall)
Here's some tips for you writers out there! (For anyone who may have come by lmao)
Describe Describe Describe!!! Describe important things! Describe the rooms the characters are in, describe the character's clothes, describe the scenery! Use similes, use metaphors! Make it imaginative and fun!
Give life to your characters! Make them say certain things, even if nobody you know in real life would say them!
Every time something changes, such as setting, or when another character is saying something, go to the next paragraph! It helps prevent an unreadable wall of text nobody wants to read! Trust me, it'll help!
"Put punctuation before the quotation!"
Look up words beside "said" or "asked", those words get repetitive and boring to the reader, you have to have more descriptive words!
Don't switch between POVS too often! It'll screw with the readers and they'll be confused and overwhelmed. Keep it one character at a time, and don't switch POVS too much.
Read other, more popular stories and take notes! If they're popular, they're clearly doing something right. Take maaaaany notes! Apply things they're using in their stories in yours! But don't steal their ideas!
