Author has written 10 stories for Alias, Lost, Office, and Criminal Minds.
Well, hello there! Welcome to my profile-y/bio thing. I'm revising my previous bio, cause it is, quite frankly, annoying the ever-loving crap out of me. Honestly, this one isn't much better, but oh well. So, so sorry about that.
I'm 21 years old and live in Wisconsin... seriously, there's not much to do here, so wit and pinache go a long way. So, I got into the whole 'fanfiction' thingy after I got into the tv show Alias. Pardon me, 'got into' implies that I was a viewer of the series, someone that just enjoyed it and that was that; I dove headfirst into the fandom, allowing myself to become immersed in the mise en scene of it all. I made a lot of great friends, and through fanfiction, worked through a lot of my own inner demons. Then, JJ Abrams went and did Lost, and my beloved show (well, season 3) made everyone want to run away screaming, so I learned some lessons about my levels of immersion. Eventually, I found some new fun things to occupy my creativity with, like photography and photoshopping. My 'pen,' so to speak, has been somewhat dry of late (okay... that's a bold-faced lie; it up and moved to Amsterdam and is currently having a grand old time). I fear that my Criminal Minds fic, which I really enjoyed writing, will never, ever be finished. I was really hoping it was going to be the story to push me into smut-writing (cause God knows I read it), but my ship crashed. And I've generally lost interest with the show. In theory, I have 3 or 4 Office fics that are on the backburner... but as I said. Muse is currently whoring it up on a European pleasure cruise. Which I was NOT invited on.
I very much enjoy making icons (for livejournal... please visit my livejournal to see them all and take what you please!) and other Photoshop-y things; another thing my Alias obession gifted me with. Feel free to go to my LJ, look around, and hopefully you'll find something that strikes your fancy - if not, I am open to requests! Don't be struck by the year-long drought in updates. It's really just that I am lazy, and haven't uploaded in a looooooong time.
Currently, I'm getting my kicks in the Twilight fandom. Say what you will about the books (and trust me, I could say plenty, good and bad), but hey. That's what fic is for. It's for awesome characterization and innovative plots; a great amount of writers in the Twilight fanficdom? They are just ROCKING that. I'm really hoping to get the writing bug back and, after a few unsuccessful attempts in other fandoms, try my hand at writing some M-rated material. But honestly, there's just so much amazing stuff out there already that for now, I'm content with being a reader.
A true hypocrite, when I was writing I cherished my reviews; as a reader, I am utter crap at regular or even sporadic commenting. For this I feel awful. Whenever I am truly moved, though, I try to say something. Even if I don't, know that I understand what its like to put your work out there... and I admire those on this site that do so.
Well, if you've made it this far, I commend your spirit and your pluck. Or something. Feel free to drop me a PM if you have an opinion on anything I've said. I get easily bored, so I'd enjoy the e-company.
