UPDATE - 01/24/2023: JB and I have been away from FF for many, many months. Work, and a few deaths in our family, had drained our creativity. Please be patient with us as we attempt to get back into the swing of things with our writings. We will finish the stories that we have started. This is our vow.

I read and write FanFic for fun and stress relief, nothing more. J.R.R. Tolkien is my all-time favorite author. Sir Doyle is a close second. My son, JB, thoroughly enjoys C.S. Lewis, J.R.R Tolkien and a variety of the DC Universe.

Harry and Hermione are my favorite characters from the J.K. Rowling books. I was disappointed when book six took the Harry/Ginny Ron/Hermione path. Found hope in book seven until Ron came back. This is why all my fanfics will more than likely center these two even if they don't seem to start that way.

I try to do things unique and not 'borrow' any ideas. Some common thoughts cannot be avoided, but I try really hard to at all cost. Everything I write has a purpose and I try really hard not to write filler. I do love a good twist though! My writings border the darkness but stay on top; riding it like a razor's edge.

My son, JB, tries to emulate my writing style. You can expect his stories to stay on the lighter side. I'm hoping that writing FanFic will help teach him how to develop his own characters.
