Poll: Now that GGO SW is on hiatus for the next long while, I thought I'd go ahead and ask... are there any stories of mine in particular which you'd like to see me work on? Anything with at least one vote will be considered, but something to keep in mind is that some of these options are probably going to be continued/started regardless of vote count. Vote Now!

Author has written 34 stories for Sword Art Online/ソードアート・オンライン, Vocaloid, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Puella Magi Madoka Magica/魔法少女まどか★マギカ, Pokémon, and RWBY. Permanent message, conceived on 2/10/15: I'm just that one asshole who writes waaaaay too many stories over several accounts, totaling well into the hundreds in sheer numbers, and several hundred thousand words between them all. I challenge you to find them all, if you dare. *Dramatic burst of music plays* This is my specialty account (and also my primary one at this point haha) for yuri stories. Yuri stories, and no other stories. Read my stories if it makes you happy, but don't if you feel like you'll be wasting your time. That's about it for this permanent message. Permanent Message 1/16/16: IMPORTANT! People who want me to add stories to my community, please read this before asking me! Okay, now that I've got your attention: This is a list of criteria for stories that they have to meet before being added to my community. A lot of people have asked me to add their stories to my SAO yuri community, and unfortunately, none of them met the criteria I've had from the beginning. It occurred to me that I should really make those criteria public so that people know what they need to accomplish before their works are considered for admission. 1: The yuri has to be obvious in at least one of the chapters already published. This is huge. I won't consider your work until the yuri has been brought to the front as a focus already. It doesn't have to be in chapter one, but it does have to be in at least one already-published chapter. My own works are an exception to this because this entire account exists solely to spread the yuri love. 2: There is a minimum quality requirement. And when I say quality, I don't just mean spelling and grammar. Literary flow is also a part of it. This is quite possibly the one that keeps the most SAO yuri stories from ever making it in. I can understand typos, everyone has those, but when you're consistently making mistakes with spelling and grammar that show you don't know how to spell and form sentences at even a middle school level, we're going to have problems. On top of that, the writing has to flow at least somewhat decently. The minimum quality requirement, using my own story as a reference, is about equal to the original Shoot to Thrill, Swing to Kill story of mine. Until your story flows at least that well, don't talk to me about it because I can and will turn you down. Probably without mercy to boot, since I'm literally telling you everything you need to do right here. 3: There is a minimum average word count per chapter. If your story isn't over 1000 words per chapter on average, it's not going to be added until it is. This is a pretty big one, too. I've refused entries to fics I absolutely loved because they weren't long enough. It's like when you go to that super high class restaurant, order something and then when it gets there, it's not even big enough to be an appetizer, let alone a meal. I've forgone adding fanfics that are better quality than my own at the time because they weren't even a thousand words. I'm looking at you, ForteDragon, and we both know which ones I'm talking about. Your AsuYuuki drabbles are just long enough and more than good enough to get me to crave more; they don't even come close to satisfying me! Anyway, that's about it for this permanent message. Now those of you looking to get your stories into my community can have some guidelines to look at before you ask me about it. If it doesn't meet those criteria, I now have an excuse to snub the hell out of you and force you to read my profile for an explanation. See ya then! 3/28/19: Yeah, I really need to get into the habit of updating my profile again, a lot of shit here was obsolete... Not a whole lot to say except that if you wanna chat me up on Discord, send me a PM on FFN and I'll link you my server I host on there where I talk with other authors and fans every day! Without further ado, onto my active stories list! You'll notice I removed a lot of them. Consider those stories that got removed more or less dead. Gun Gale Online: The Swordswoman is undeniably my main focus now. It seems to be the only story I can stick with long-term, to boot. I've said that I'm almost done with it, but in reality, there's still a good few hundred thousand words left before I arrive at the end. The story ends on zone twenty-nine, and I'm averaging ten 3-6k word chapters per zone. And well, I'm still on zone twenty-one, though I'm almost done with that zone in particular. It's gonna be a long while before this story concludes. Gun Gale Online: The Swordswoman - Transcendent Bonds has finally reached arc two! I'm not really working on it very often, though, and I'm only a few hundred words into the next chapter... tough times. This is once again applicable to the current state of affairs, so I'm not changing it. Break the Cycle is the prequel to Transcendent Bonds, and it gives backstory to both Kiriko and the Black Cats. It's the only one out of all the fics in the series sans the original GGO SW that I'd say can really be read as a standalone with no problems. Go check it out if you haven't already! Next chapter is still being worked on occasionally but will likely be a little while. Like Mother Like Daughter is what happens when someone like me, who writes yuri specifically because it's not widely accepted in Japan, realizes that he's written normal yuri so damn much that it's starting to get boring. I wrote normal yuri because the idea of forbidden love appealed to me, but all over the world, being gay is becoming increasingly more widely accepted, even in Japan! It's losing its appeal for me... so I decided to write something that is still very widely criticized and likely will be for a long time - that of romance between a mother and her daughter. That said, Kimiko and Yui, the two main leads, are not related by blood, because I honestly can't really stomach going that far. Half of me hates myself for writing this story and the other half thinks it's fucking genius, in part due to how it's one of the best things I've ever written in my life, from a quality standpoint as well as from the standpoint of interpersonal relationships. If you can stand the idea of Kiriko/(adopted) Yui, then I absolutely recommend reading this! Aincrad: A Coming of Age Story is my attempt at a real Aincrad AU. It's largely a harem centered around that story's Kiriko, but it also avoids writing from her perspective, because the inner workings of her mind are supposed to be a mystery so as to mask her true intentions at all times. That's about all I'll say on the subject. Star Catcher is a collaborative work between myself and Xera Stark. Xera writes Argo, I write Kiriko. It's more or less designed to be an "Argo gets the girl" story since, to put it mildly, Argo gets shafted a lot in my stories despite her being more or less my favorite canon character (though I like certain gameverse characters more than her, admittedly). Even Though We're Sisters is the result of me deciding to pioneer the female Kirito X Suguha pairing in order to scratch an itch, so to speak. I currently think it's more or less pure trash, though I plan to rewrite it eventually, seeing as the idea itself wasn't terrible. Shoot to Thrill, Swing to Kill is DONE! It's also currently being rewritten, for... reasons. Airsoft Guns, Bamboo Blades and Unyielding Love is a new idea I came up with while remembering how dreadfully unrealistic Shoot to Thrill's pacing was at the start. This is a rewrite of that story that will have better pacing right from the beginning. It will include a rewrite of what's out so far of the sequel within it, so the whole thing would flow as a single fic. It would be much longer than the original, because it will include a lot more stuff to slow down the incredibly fast pacing the original had. I've worked on this a bit more recently in terms of design, but the next chapter is a ways off. Other works currently posted on this account are all either on hiatus or abandoned. Imagine that. Oh, and while I'm at it, I think I'll give thanks to a few reviewers who I've come to like over my time here on FFnet. They've either managed to provide constructive criticism that has greatly helped me as a writer, or just brightened my whole day with their reviews. I'll list them below, though not in any special order (pretty much just in the order I thought of them/the order they started reviewing). If you're one of these people, and you're reading this right now, then thanks so much for your continued support and ability to deal with my crap! Apathetic Plot Bunneh Kagira Tachiki skywiseskychan Posiden666 Fundindar sgtranglin Major Mike Powell III Slicerness Konetsu demonsshade (Yeah, we duked it out over his last bashing, but it definitely helped me improve once I looked objectively at his critiques.) Impstar Gadget Boy (the only guest reviewer to make the list so far) OverRunner (the only consistent reviewer of I'd Rather Die) Speedyquader wolfenergy17 (The dude is a pretty nice, if not a little spazzy in a fun way, kind of guy, and his critiques are worth twice to three times that of the average reviewer.) Fictologist (this guy gave me the most in-depth analysis I've ever gotten on any story. And to top it off, it was for the one that needs it most, my most ambitious project, Transcendent Bonds!) literallyakak (the dude doesn't have confidence in his reviewing ability but I personally wish every review I got was as close to pure perfection as his was) Esthelaaaa Xera Stark AD Lewis I think that's enough for now. I'll try to update this profile around every two weeks or so, but I make no promises (besides, in making no promises, I can also update it once a week instead - and sometimes even more often than that!). |
