Author has written 8 stories for Pokémon, Naruto, Hetalia - Axis Powers, and Codename: Kids Next Door.
Name: Not telling, basic internet safety you know. But you can just shorten my username to 'Rio' if you want
Gender: I'm a girl
Likes: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Markiplier, animated movies, cartoons, fanfiction, video games, reading, purple, and grass whistles
Dislikes: Carrots, long hair, neon colors, dresses, oranges, and mosquitoes
Codename: Kids Next Door - This show was my childhood.
Doctor Who - Been stuck on this for a while now.
Supernatural - Kinda on and off with this one. I'm attached to the characters, but not nearly so much as some of my friends.
Opinions on Fanfiction: AUs are awesome, 95% of ships are crap, it's hard to find a Pokemon fanfic with decently described battle scenes, and childhood fluff stories are under-appreciated.
Opinions on Shipping: Most of them are really just stupid to me. Everyone likes one or another, but I don't understand them, even though there are a few I like. People (my friends especially) are always going on about this pairing, or that shipping fic, or this new ship, and while I get that they enjoy them, I don't understand how a simple pairing can be such a big deal. :\ To each their own, I suppose.
Opinions on Television: It's great, for the most part. There are fantastic shows and awful shows and mind-numbing shows and everything in between. Used to watch it a lot more than I do now, mostly because I find Netflix so much more indulging.
Opinions on Cartoons: People who dislike cartoons don't appreciate them. They take a LOT of work to make, try googling the process sometime. Plus, when it's a good show, they really take you in. Cartoons are awesome. What ISN'T great is how far down the drain Cartoon Network has gone. I remember the best cartoons ever, from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends to Code Lyoko, being on that channel. Now, I rarely see anything that seems worth spending time on, and the few recent and decent cartoons CN picks up are just dropped after a while. Like Generator Rex. They used to keep things longer.
I know there's been a change in management of the studio in 2008, but they took down so many things I loved in just the year or two after that... :( Blocks may have to change, but CN's gone in a completely different direction since I was seven. What happened to Ed, Edd, and Eddy? Codename: Kids Next Door? It's all flashy animation and big names now, no meaning, or plot, or even a premise anymore.
Fanfiction pledges: (Written by my friend in real life, the wonderful, the geeky, The Misty Jewel!) (Those in bold are ones I pledge to)
The Free Bird Pledge- (For the fickle writers of FanFiction) I pledge to write whatever my muse allows me, and to use FanFiction to have fun and to get a break. If my story seems hopeless and I do not wish to continue, I will end it so I can start on something new. If I love the story I'm writing, I'll not be afraid to admit it, and I'll continue writing it. I will read if it suits me, and I'll not be afraid to say what I think about a story. I pledge to read only when I want to, and write only when I wish to. I will do what I want, when I want, if I want to. FanFiction, to me, means free.
The Solid Pledge- (For the writers of FanFiction with big goals) I pledge to write whatever I want, or what is on my mind, and to use FanFiction to have fun, and get a break from my busy life. If my story seems hopeless and I think about stopping, I will persevere, and enjoy that I finished it. I pledge to read only when I want to, and write only when I wish to, although I will try hard to update my stories often. I will do what I want, when I want, if I want to. FanFiction, to me, means a break.
The Reader's Pledge- (For those who read much more than write) I pledge to read whenever I want, and write whenever I want, although I read more often than write. I will use FanFiction to have fun, and to get a break. If what I read isn't good, I will abandon it without regrets. If what I read I love, I will Favorite/Follow it even if others may judge me because of this. I will try hard to follow any and all stories that please me, and to write if it suits me. I will do what I want, when I want, if I want to. FanFiction, to me, means a good read, and possibly a good story to write.
The Writer's Pledge- (For those who write much more than read) I pledge to write whenever I want, and read whenever I want, although I write more often than read. I will use FanFiction to have fun, and get a break. If what I write I do not like, I will leave it until it suits me again. If what I write I love, I will write it, even if others may judge me because of this. I will try hard to write anything and everything that seems good, and read if it suits me. I will do what I want, when I want, if I want to. FanFiction, to me, means a place to put down my feelings and thoughts, whatever they may be.
The Undefined Pledge- (For those who don't know who they are yet) I pledge to write and/or read if I want to. I will use FanFiction to have fun,and get a break. I pledge to experiment with my writing, and see what suits me. I pledge to read new things, and new topics, to see what I like. If I don't like something, I will not be afraid to say so, and leave it. If I love something, I will not be afraid stick with it and help it along the way. I will do what I want, when I want, if I want to. FanFiction, to me, means anything and everything.

Friends on ffn:
twobagelscollide: A fanfiction friend I met by replying on a review. He's a nice guy, if a bit eccentric and rambling, but hey, aren't we all? Take a look at his profile if you like Pokemon.
Quillinx: My best friend, who I actually know in real life. I'm co-writing the plot with her on Takeoff: New Discoveries of Rescue Team J. She's a great writer who really enjoys writing, and whose stories are under-appreciated. She writes for several fandoms, notably Sherlock and Pokemon. Hetaliacized over the summer.
The Misty Jewel: She's a close friend in real life, and an enthusiastic writer. Her fanfictions lean towards BBC, including several for Sherlock, Doctor Who, and Merlin. Also a Hetalian.
Story stats: Last Resort: What's turning out to be a much longer fic for me than usual, and one I really want to finish writing. A story which deals with consequences and responsibility in the KND world. AU from the end of the cartoon: Sector V was decommissioned, and no one knows the GKND exists - it will not be playing any role in this story. Ongoing.
KND Files: A lazy collection of whatever quick ideas come to my mind. Ongoing.
International: A collection of loosely related Hetalia stories centering around the main 8 Axis/Allies characters. Mostly just for fun, I really like writing this story. Updates, as always, are irregular. Please read if you enjoy Hetalia! No plans for continuation.
The Day You Look Around Yourself and See the World at Peace: A long Hetalia one-shot that is my attempt at a story with a meaningful message. Written partially because I really wanted something of mine to be complete. Complete.
The Memories that Could've Been: A collection of one-shots and mini-arcs that I want to write, all about Naruto's childhood, but a version where Yota survived and didn't make everyone forget. Updates probably won't be regular, but I do want to continue this for a long time. I have no clue when I'll update next, though hopefully it'll be soon. Kon kon kon! Abandoned.
The Legends' Tournament: Abandoned and up for adoption. If interested, please PM me.
Takeoff - New Discoveries of Rescue Team J: And here's the long-awaited sequel to Kickstart! I don't think updates will come as frequently as they did with the first installment, but they'll be happening. Like the fanfic before it, Takeoff is a role-play collaboration with my best friend, Quillinx. Check out her profile for more stories, and please read and review Takeoff! Probably abandoned.
Clash of the Legends: I'm working with twobagelscollide on this one. It's fun to role-play arguing pokemon. This story is a work in progress, but there're a few chapters planned out. I have no idea how often updates will come, but please read and review! Quite possibly to not ever be continued - 7/22/2014
