![]() Author has written 43 stories for Star Wars, Bleach, Naruto, Harry Potter, Gundam Seed, Star Wars, Game of Thrones, X-overs, DC Universe Online, StarTrek: Deep Space Nine, X-Com, Battlestar Galactica: 2003, Warhammer, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Mass Effect, Mechwarrior/Battletech, Stargate: SG-1, Worm, Code Geass, Avengers, Youjo Senki: Saga of Tanya the Evil, and Halo. Things I like: music, books, movies, video games, not necessary in that order. Fanfiction too, obviously. What I like fanfiction wise: Star Wars, A Song of Ice and Fire, Harry Potter, Worm, Naruto and Mass Effect are the most notable ones. I am posting my stories on the space battles, sufficient velocity and alternative history forums - only the last one requires an account in order to view them. Lately I've been posting about two short updates there and then combining them in a single chapter I'm posting here. Keeping the updates short, while not exactly ideal, helps to keep me focused on writing something frequently, otherwise I do get distracted with my various hobbies while resting after work. Those of you who enjoy my stories and have the means, you can support me on: - search for Delkatar's writing corner What I'm working on right now: Stars bound in shadows - a Star Wars/ Stargate crossover; The story takes place in one of the many Stargate alternative universes we know exist, an universe where SGC's luck would have ran out sooner or later. In it, my Sith SI Veil find himself as a host of a minor Goauld, and which doesn't end well for the parasite, and has to figure out a way to survive the mutliple coming galactic extinction events, while building up his powerbase. Rogue Knight II: The Return of the Sith - Star Wars SI story, sequel to Rogue Knight; I'm a bit stuck right now - while I do have a lot of idea for the future of the RK universe, especially about Rogue Knight III: The Black Rebellion, RK II's planned sequel, my muse isn't cooperating with this story right now. Hopefully that will change. Die for the Cause - a Mass Effect story trying to address some of my pet peeves with the ME universe. The primary distinction is that the Citadel Council is competent if bound by various political and economic realities. The Systems Alliance has expanded too fast too much in an attempt to set the foundations Humanity needs to become a major power in the future, the Reapers represented by Nazara are making their move. It falls upon Shepard's shoulders to save the galaxy, by his actions and successes the Systems Alliance would either rise up to join the Council or find itself torn by unrest and perhaps even civil war ignited by Terra Firma and Cerberus. I am a Super Krogan now? - A Worm SI based on a CYOA with ME elements I'm writting for fun. While my other stories are not abandoned, I can't give any promise when I'll have the time and inclination to go back to them. Given time and means, I hope to dedicate time on properly clearing up and expanding my story Rogue Knight - some chapters are rather rough and I do need to flesh up certain events and factions, primary the ORR and how exactly the Jedi decided to move openly against the Sith at the worst possible moment. Time permitting, I do intend to finally write the two intended side stories featuring Veil's Black Operations outfit on the Republic side and Sev'rance Tann's crew working for Dooku for the Separatists. As requested - the reading order of my Veil Si stories. The original one is Gundam Seed Intervention, a Gundam Seed, and eventually Destiny SI. Chronologically, it continues in Imperial Knight, a prequel for my Rogue Knight stories, taking place during the SWTOR timeframe. I'm working very slowly on it, largely due to lack of feedback. Rogue Knight, and Rogue Knight II - my two largest and most ambitious stories to date. They do have a lot of issues, especially RK, which I hope to find the time to fix one day in an overhaul. Realistically, if I ever find the time, it would be after I've finally finished RK II, and the planned end of the RK trilogy - RK III: The Black Rebellion. Then there is A Song of Sith and Thrones - a crossover with Got/ASOIAF using Veil form early in RK, one day awakening in the body of a Robet Baratheon's second, legitimate son. Even after an overhaul through Grammary and claning up some things, the story suffers from initially planning not to have the Force as a factor. On a second thought, doing so would have made Durran - the protagonist no different than any other SI in the setting, and wasting the whole concept of a SW crossover. It needs yet another overhaul to clean things up and make them more consistent across the board. Next is the Sith of Brockton Bay - I'm in the process of slowly overhauling this story, with the first chapter done and reposted over the space battles and sufficient velocity forums. In hindsight, I didn't have a plan where I wanted to go with it, and it shows. The Iron Sith - MCU/SW SI story, with Veil ending replacing Tony's mind in the cave of Afganistan. The story suffers from me not being sure where I wanted to go with it, and being too hasty in executing various plot points, makign Veil act out of character. In hindsight, I didn't handle well the way Sith Tony would act without being influenced by the Force, and feeling incredibly vulnerable as a regular middle aged human. It needs and overhaul if I'm to continue it. The Iron Sith V2 MCU/SW SI story, greatly improved version of the above story; Mandalorian Knights - I wrote this as an exploration of how the galaxy might be in the aftermath of the Clone Wars in the RK trilogy. In it, Mandalorian scientists working for Veil, who has been Mandalore for years now, manage to accidentally open a dimensional rift leading to Earth Bet star system. Shenanigans and cultural clash ensures. The Mandalorian Freehold is aware of how much power it holds, compared to a single pre-sparce faring world, not to mention that Veil and company find the concept of Parahumans very interesting and worth researching. At the point I stopped writing, the US military, PRT, Protectorate and local law enforceemnt, executed an operation to neutralize all villains in Brockton Bay, to ensure they wouldn't bother the Mandalorian enclave set up down't there, which was the end of the current story ack. When I'm up to writing the next one, we will see a bunch of Earth diplomats and assorted representatives visiting the Corcusca Galaxy for the dual celebrations of Empire Day - signifying the formation of the Federated Empire under Emperor and Empress Obi-Wan and Satine Kenobi, along with Victory Day, when the Clone Wars were "won" (read survived) by the two major factions. The Sith's Apprentice - Veil ends up in Harry Potter's world in the eighties, then proves that simply enjoying his retirement isn't for a Sith like him. In no particular order, he ends up impersonating a Dark Lord, who takes over Europe, creates a tech corporation to uplift Earth so it is a better retirement place, and out of spite, prolongs the Cold War, after Western governments declare his company an asset entangled with National Security TM, and meddle in his affairs. He is also currently playing a long game against Dumbledore and the British Ministry of Magic, over his new Apprentice, Harry Potter. Other SI stories: A tale of blood and steel - a SI that began as an Inquisitor's acolyte fresh out of training, during the early days of the Kronus campaign, and escalated from there. Right now, Veil is a reluctantly tollerated Inquisitor, who has a bunch of other Inquisitors trying to not let him get himself killed by assorted Imperial authorities for rocking the boat. He is reluctantly, or very eagerly heralded as an Imperial Saint, which comes with tons of baggage, and cool, possilby sentient wings. There also might be a not exactly heretical alliance with a bunch of Necrons, all aimed at Chaos, who everyone involved hates. I am a Super Krogan now? A Worm SI based on CYOA, with ME elements, I began writting for fun and to chill off after my mother died was April. Who knew, being in Wrex's body and having his memories, makes for a lot of Krogan-like responses. Add to that a bunch of interesting powers, and shenanigans ensure. |
