Heart of Fire:

"I am SMAUG! I kill where I wish, and none may stand against me. And now, you belong to me!" Gandalf finds a lonely woman living in hiding, one with an amazing story to tell: Kathryn, a Seer in self-exile wanders Middle-Earth looking for peace, but when she discovers the broken and ruined city of Dale, her life is changed forever. Smaug the Terrible stirs beneath the Lonely Mountain when he hears singing from a heavenly voice and realises that he must have such a prize as his own. Now trapped in the Dragon's lair, Kathryn must escape to freedom, but one vision still plagues her, one that connects her to the dragon forever. Heart of Ashes:

Sequel to Heart of Fire. Smaug has been resurrected by the witch Andraya and is now in the body of lowly human! But dark forces hunt the dragon and his seer, and with no one to trust, Kathryn is having continuous visions of a darkness that calls to her... and an evil that now grows inside of Smaug. The Vow:

Shen's story truly began when a swan was sent to Gongmen City to be his intended bride. The Lady Lianne was sent to live with the peacocks by her father as a form of punishment, with the intention of wedding her off to Lord Shen. However, Shen must court Lianne for one year before he can marry her and when she arrives things do not go as smoothly as Shen might have expected. But Shen will not be stopped from obtaining what he wants, and will go to any and all lengths to get it. And Lianne will unknowingly lead Shen to his destiny, but in which way?
