There's not really all that much to know about me. I recently finished school, and am currently endeavoring to figure out this "grown up" thing, with mixed results.
I'm an unabashed nerd. I do pretty much everything nerdy under the sun, with the notable exception of videogames. I play Dungeons & Dragons, I read comic books (preferably Marvel, thanks), I ADORE scifi (Firefly, Battlestar Gallactica, Star Trek (Data was my first TV crush, back when i was a wee lass), Doctor Who, X-Files...), I read fantasy books (Tamora Pierce and Patricia Briggs in particular are my heroines), I even read classic literature for fun (can you say Pride and Prejudice and Shakespeare?). I play clarinet (and bass clarinet) and I adore classical music, although some people might not classify that as nerdy.
I write fanfiction for a lot of reasons. First and foremost, I love writing, and I think fanfiction is a wonderful way to develop writing skills without having to worry about world-building or creating your own characters. I'll write a fanfic if I want to explore a character, or if I think a particular situation would be interesting. I write it if I think there's something that the canon left unresolved. I write it to challenge myself and try on new writing styles. Most importantly, though, I write it for fun. I know I might have some weird stuff, but I'm not going to be ashamed of it at all. So there.
So that's the basics. If there's anything else you'd like to know, I'm happy to share. I'll also take into consideration any requests (story trades are nice), because I enjoy writing for people.
The End (I guess)
