Jim knows about how people can be haunted by ghosts. After all, there were too many times when his mom would look at him and see the ghost of his Dad. That's why Jim's the only one to notice that Spock's being haunted. At first, it seems that it's just from losing his planet and Mom, but after Khan, Jim finds out that Spock has a new ghost. Spirk.

A teensy tidbit about Spock's thoughts when Scotty calls him down to Engineering in Into Darkness. Disclaimer: I, unfortunately, don't own Star Trek.

"You can't stay on Enterprise, kid. I've got to get you to Earth," McCoy said. No. Jim wasn't going back to Earth. There was nothing for him on Earth. There never had been. Nothing good happened on Earth. He wanted to stay. Kirk picks up an unknown virus on the Narada and is quarantined on Earth while McCoy tries frantically to find a cure.

Spock Prime sings a lullaby to Jim and Spock's new baby girl, thinking back to the life he once had.

The meld with Spock Prime had made one thing clear. They had loved each other. Jim seeks answers on how to recreate that with his own Vulcan & ends up consulting Kirk!Prime. But something is wrong as he finds out that maybe people aren't always destined to be together & sometimes love doesn't always take the same form. Will his searching lead to horrid truths & ruining everything?

Jim makes good on his promise and takes Spock on a week-long trip to Arizona. Part Two of In Between-verse, but could also be (mostly) read as a stand-alone.

An assault on Kirk leaves the Captain unable to see and with no memory of what happened. After an encounter with a band of Klingon rebels goes badly, Spock suffers a serious injury that affects his ability to recollect short-term memory. As a result, Jim is preoccupied with his condition and makes it his duty to bring Spock's memories back. Kirk/Spock romance, predominantly. Somewhere after Kirk waking up and the beginning of the five-year mission, Kirk and Spock managed to hammer out a few rules for their new friendship. This is how the rest of the crew finds out about them. Post Into Darkness. Discontinued.

Seven handprints were carved into the wall — each moulded to a member of the senior bridge crew of the Enterprise. In order to investigate this anomaly, the entire crew beam down to the planet, and falls into a nightmare. Kirk/Spock. NOW COMPLETE (pending epilogue)

Captain Kirk learns that, when it comes to the cultural habits of Vulcans, it's not a good idea to trust other people's research. Set after Star Trek: Into Darkness, and features a reboot of the TOS episode "Shore Leave." Credit goes to Brittany Diamond's Ship's Closet Analysis for inspiring a certain scene in this. M/M romance between Kirk and Spock.

Hyposprays aside, the thought of having to visit a doctor- Doctor McCoy- made Spock's stomach turn. Unfortunately, if he didn't make the conscious decision himself, Captain Kirk would probably order him there, anyway. The outcomes, either way, Spock rationalised, were simply not desirable. When Chekov is kidnapped from onboard the Enterprise, the rest of the crew must pull together to find out why, and get their youngest member back. When the situation becomes deadlier than expected, Kirk makes a sacrifice for the ship's ensign. Whole crew fic. K for violence.

SPOILERS: Kirk's final words were not what he intended them to be, he was cut short of his final reveal. That he loves Spock, and he doesn't know when it happened or why it happened, but he does know without a doubt that it is true. Now all he has to do is find a way to tell the man without ruining their friendship. Oh, and try to get Spock to love him back.

After Jim wakes...

This is basically a continuation of "Soul Bond". Kirk and Spock continue to deal with being soul mates. It isn't always easy! Based on Star Trek 2009 and Star Trek Into Darkness. I own nothing. For entertainment purposes only. No copyright infringement is intended.

Pon farr hits and a very unaware Kirk is at the wrong place at the wrong time. Non-con ensues. Cue Spock having a serious case of human!guilt!feels and Kirk trying to fix everything. Or, I really wanted to read a fic where Kirk didn't suddenly start enjoying his surprise!ponfarr!rape in the middle of it because he secretly loved Spock, but I couldn't find one.

Spock cannot change like the night sky. They are what this world has made them, spinning and shattering but whole and alive nonetheless. And together, damn it. They found each other again in this universe and Jim knew that they were a constant. They would not change.

At the end of their five year mission, the Enterprise and her crew get assigned one last, simple mission: to pick up and transport a scientist, her son and the device she's invented to New Vulcan. What will Kirk do when he finds out who the scientist really is?

After nearly a year of complete silence, the United Federation of Planets receive a message from the Klingon and Romulan Empires offering a treaty that will bring peace to the galaxy. When the Enterprise gets called to witness this historic moment, Captain Kirk realises that nothing is as it seems. What sacrifices will he be forced to make in order to save the day?

Jim didn't know why he'd dragged himself back to the door of the chamber. In the logical part of his mind, he knew that the air he was gasping was saturated with radiation, that opening that door might kill everyone he had just given his life to save. Yet, here he was. Typical illogical human.

Jim knows exactly what is supposed to happen when Khan reveals his real name, and there's no way he's letting history repeat itself this time. WARNING: CANON CHARACTER DEATH, SPOILERS FOR STID.

Kirk knows that he's been broken, but it's okay, really, because they're all broken. Together, they're gonna fight the nightmares and hallucinations and fever dreams and, in the end, they'll be alright. A bit of post-Into Darkness angst.
