Five times that Sherlock and John slept together, but, no, they're really not a couple! Platonic cuddling - yes, I said it; it's my guilty pleasure - to suit both sides of the fandom.

Sherlock comes back from a case acting strange. He deteriorates until he does the unthinkable. After having a breakdown, he no longer remembers John or most of his current life. John visits Sherlock in the asylum often, hoping that he will be able to rescue his friend from the memories and abuse that triggered his breakdown, and hoping to gain his friend back.

Mrs. Hudson is attacked. Sherlock is a suspect. As he sits in the cell, paralyzed with fear and regret, he remembers how Mrs. Hudson helped him through the horrors of his childhood. As he struggles through the agony of her injuries, Sherlock must reconcile a past that he couldn't have survived without the landlady who was more of a mother than his own.

Sherlock returns, but his friendship with John is damaged. Nevertheless, they embark on their final hunt to finish off Moriarty's net, but it ends in a catastrophe: Sherlock is shot and lapses into a coma. As John keeps vigil, he reads Sherlock's diary written during the hiatus. Slowly, he begins to understand and finds himself wishing for another miracle. Completed.

Sherlock meets John's new girl friend, Molly Hooper, and wants her for himself. Sherlolly. Not to be taken seriously, this was inspired by the song "Jessie's Girl" by Rick Springfield.

Sherlock abroad hunting Moriarty's men; Molly at home carrying on & looking no one in the eye. If they ever had anyone else in the world, they've both given that up now. The only lifeline that connects them is an unreliable black-&-white camera in the St. Bart's morgue & a one-way phone sending untraceable texts from locations undisclosed. It'll have to be enough. Sherlock/Molly.

Poor Molly Hooper has firmly come to believe that no good deed goes unpunished. Things look bleak for the normally effervescent and cheery pathologist until she finds a new mantra and along with it a new found confidence that even a man who claims to be "married to his work" would be hard pressed to ignore. Sherlock/Molly

Only Sherlock Holmes would be an idiot enough to reveal his heart in a way that got him into some very boiling water with his pathologist. Will he be able to pull himself out in time, or has he blown his chances forever?

The next time that door opens, John Watson will kill the person on the other side.
