Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter, and Ouran High School Host Club.
Hi. I've been an avid fanfiction reader for a little over a year now and decided that I would try my own attempt, because it drives me crazy when someone starts a story and either doesn't finish it or updates are weeks or months in between. I am working on a male/male Harry Potter/Ouran High School Host Club crossover. I thought it would be a simple story, but it's getting longer and longer as the days go by. It is now completed and is a little over 90k words, although it needs to be heavily edited.
I wrote the story longhand because when I first began, my computer was broken, I was bored and a pen and paper was all I had at the time. Now I find I prefer writing first drafts long hand, because despite my story/grammar looking like it was written by a five-year old, writing long hand stopped me from constantly going back and editing what I wrote and therefore never finishing.
The story (I haven't thought of a title yet) begins the summer before Harry's third year at Hogwarts and ends at the end of what would've been Harry's fourth year at Hogwarts. It is strongly HP focused as the events occur before Ouran High School Host Club. Despite that Harry interacts with some of the members of the Host Club, but just not on a full time basis.
I am hoping to be able to edit two chapters a week with updates twice a week.
Fun Random Facts You Probably Have No Interest In:
I can get about 16 pages with a PaperMate Profile Pen, 21 pages with a Bic Cristal Bold, and 14 on a Bic Velocity pen when I'm writing on U.S. standard wide ruled notebook paper. The PaperMate pen is more comfortable, but the Bic pen while smaller writes much smoother. So far with this story, I have filled 2 wide-ruled one subject notebook and 2 wide-ruled three subject notebooks.
Okay. I've bored you enough for now.
