Hello World at Large!
My name is Pippin. I'm a British, female geek who likes to read books, comics and manga, write fiction, draw cartoons and watch animated series and movies. I currently work for the railway and each summer I try to go to as many comic/anime conventions as my free days will allow. In winter, I hibernate. I have a degree in BSc Geography with Earth Systems Science and I usually portray myself as my fursona - a large, fluffy, purple housecat. I'm a fan of traditional English spelling and grammar and refuse to use Americanisation.
A thousand apologies to readers of my older stories! Due to lack of time and/or loss of interest and/or writers block, lots of my older stories are on indefinite, but most likely permanent, hiatus. I apologise. As of now, I complete a story fully before posting it so as to avoid reader disappointment. Also sometimes, if I'm not happy with a story or it receives lots of bad press, I will take it down from the site and/or alter it accordingly, and there are no guarantees it will be put back. I have had a purge on my older stories, so the only things left online are the ones I am half-happy about (although, if you know me at all, you'll know that I'm pretty much NEVER happy with what I've written, and there is no bigger critic of my work than myself).
Unfortunately, this purge meant bye bye all my old Danny Phantom and Harry Potter fics, written when I was younger and should have known better.
Disclaimer: This is a fanfiction site. Note the word 'fan' as in 'lover of the original idea' as in 'I didn't come up with the original idea, someone else did but I shall compliment them by using their characters creatively in a story of my own imagination'. Thus, most of the characters and settings for all my stories here do not belong to me and never will do (shame). However, all my stories come from my imagination and my OCs are usually integrated into them as seamlessly as possible without a trace of Mary-Sue. Anyway, what I mean to say is the original idea is not mine, but the stories are.
