Author has written 25 stories for Silmarillion, Lord of the Rings, Hobbit, and Star Wars.

Welcome all! My name is Chica! Step in and play in your familiar, beloved worlds, exploring and discovering things you've never thought of before. I dole out hidden epic fails, epilogues, hilarity, April Fool's Day, reflections, and comfort for all at the end of everything, even if in the afterlife. (Yes, I intend to bring Maglor home a thousand times over, and Daeron, Mithrellas, and Nimrodel too!) So step in and don't let your feet touch the ground of reality for a while!

Ever since a fateful day in January 2009 when I read my first Phantom of the Opera fanfic, I have left reviews as 5SecstoThrowItFB (meaning that all Frodo had to do was resist for just 5 more seconds!!!), NeosNameIsASpoiler (Neo is one of six anagrams of "One"), AniisaProcrastinator (indicating Anakin Skywalker did bring balance to the Force but just took a detour and destroyed the galaxy first), and probably other usernames indicating various ridiculous things about books and movies.

I am a proud Christian (and reading the Silmarillion with its epic Valarin fails made me realize just how amazing God is because he actually always knows what he's doing)! Message me if you have any questions or want to talk!

I like Lord of the Rings/Silmarillion (READ THE BOOKS AND PROUD OF IT but Aragorn healing Faramir is MUCH more important to have left in than Tom Bombadil- I mean Faramir in a shadow world and then Aragorn comes out of a mist with a blazing gem upon his brow and...), Harry Potter, Inception, Star Wars, and the Matrix trilogy. (If anyone wants me to beta stuff from those, I'm game. I also have very good grammar.)

According to a quiz, I am a Noldorin Elf, which is kind of true because I am stubborn, will stand up for what I believe in or what I think is the way one should do things, and love pursuing knowledge and art and creating stories and things. But I think I'm really a mix of all elves, because I also love nature and I am religious and very unconfrontational... although a Facebook Feanor told me that if I worked hard maybe I could be like him one day. No thanks.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ALL SILMARILLION WRITERS: To clear up confusion, Ilúvatar (one L, no O's). Also: one Noldo, many kinslaying Noldor; one Vanya, many Vanyar; one Sinda, two Sindar with sense (Mablung and Beleg if you were curious); one Vala, 14 Valar; one Maia, five Maiar; one Elda, 144,000 Eldar; one Ainu, many Ainur; one Nando, two lost Nandor. Generally, names of peoples end in a vowel and take "r" to make them plural. EXCEPTIONS: one Teler, a heap of (multiple) dead Teleri; one creepy Avar who enchants Elf-maidens, many Avari; one Istar who actually fights Sauron, five Istari who were supposed to fight Sauron. Also Quendë/Quendi, Laiquendë/Laiquendi, etc.. Sauron is not a Maiar of Morgoth!

My favorite pairings:

Anything canon- I like canon. Canon is good. Some non-canon stuff out there would probably make the authors puke or die from heart attacks. (I aspire to be one- I already have a story published- and if someone messed with any of my babies I'd send them flames straight from Mount Doom.)

BerenxLúthien- THESE TWO ARE AN AMAZING EVIL-FIGHTING ADORABLE COUPLE!!!!! (Plus they were the only ones who actually stole a Silmaril from Morgoth! Ha, ha, Noldor!) I'd love to see some BxL fluff out there... there's none! :(

NeoxTrinity- Another superhero couple, and they are so in love and Trinity is so purehearted and wise in a way I have rarely seen anywhere else. (I know it's probably that their relationship can afford to be perfect because there are other problems like they could die and Neo has to save the world and stuff, but still!)

AragornxArwen- Mainly because they're the main canon pairing in LOTR fic, but their story is sweet, and I love how they stayed strong and hopeful and how Arwen sewed the banner that hailed the deliverance of Minas Tirith, WHICH SHOULD BE CALLED MINAS ANOR AGAIN BY NOW.

FaramirxÉowyn IF IT'S DONE WELL and captures formerly unloved Faramir who now has great hope with formerly bitter Éowyn who can see "light in the sun" again and is casting aside her sword forever... rare but can be found! But this one is the only relationship we can see evolve on a strong base.

My policy on slash/ridiculous noncanon pairings (ex. HermionexSnape, AragornxLegolas, Glorfindelx random Elf, FrodoxSauron- yes, it does exist, apparently):

"Tears unnumbered ye shall shed; and the users of fanfiction sites will fence their filters against you, and shut you out, so that not even the echo of your lamentation shall pass over the World Wide Web. On the slash/ridiculous pairing (SRP) writers the wrath of the Authors of the Works (and, for Tolkien fanfics, the wrath of the Valar) lieth from the West unto the uttermost East, and upon all that will follow them it shall be laid also. Their love of SRP shall drive them, and yet betray them, and ever snatch away the very treasures of "shmexy goodness" that they have sworn to pursue. To evil end shall all things turn that they begin well; and by treason of writer unto writer, and the fear of treason, shall this come to pass. The Dispossessed shall they be for ever.

Ye have twisted the spirits of your muses unrighteously and have stained the sites of the Web. For blood ye shall render blood, and beyond your computers ye shall dwell in Death's shadow. For though God appointed to you to die not online, and no sickness may assail you through your computer, yet slain ye may be, and slain ye shall be: by bad review and by torment and by admin; and your houseless spirits shall come then to the Real World. There long shall ye abide and yearn for your accounts, and find little pity though all whom ye have scarred for life should entreat for you. And those that endure on and come not to the Real World shall grow weary of it as a great burden, and shall wane, and become as shadows of regret before the better writers that cometh after. The Authors have spoken.'

(Doom of Mandos on a bunch of rebellious Kinslaying Noldorin Elves, pg. 99, The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien... modified. People who've read the Silm, I'm simplifying it for everyone else, K? Feel free to copy this and spread doom to the Canon Unfaithful!)

DISCLAIMER: The author of the above policy now kind of ships MaedhrosxFingon... making this whole rant kind of hypocritical now... BUT STILL!

Also Nienor slash, because this is the one time ever when ANYTHING would be better than the canon pairing... I mean, between slash and incest, I'd take the slash! (Funny, I'm listening to movie music and the "Game of Thrones" theme just came on...)

And "The Slash Fairy Cometh" by Cyberwulf. IT'S HILARIOUS!!!!! (I wrote a sequel in a fit of frustration at bad fanfiction- a deliciously evil drabble featuring the worst pairing to ever walk Arda! Read it!)

Tolkien-related things I want to do (copy and modify as applies to you!):

Try to sail to Valinor... and end up in Rivendell on the coast of New Zealand, try to soeak to everyone in Elvish, sing a hymn of praise to Elbereth, etc. etc.

Go to the Valinor dorm at UC Irvine and reenact the Oath of Fëanor and the Doom of Mandos. (Maybe the First Kinslaying too, on a nearby lawn or in the hallways, with Segways, plastic swords, and ketchup packets...)

Reenact epic speeches, from Théoden's to Aragorn's to the Oath of Fëanor to the Doom of Mandos, in public places, preferably from elevated locations.

Crash a party, wedding, or important social event screaming that Melkor has broken into Formenos, killed the High King, stolen the Silmarils, and fled Aman.

Do Tolkien-speak with telemarketers. (The Doom of Mandos especially!)

Order lembas in a restaurant, then get very upset when they don't have it.

Next time I go to a volcano, point and shout, "LOOK! IT'S MAEDHROS'S SILMARIL! And his jawbone! And Frodo's finger!!!!!) (The One Ring was destroyed, remember? :) )

You may be obsessed with Lord of the Rings if: { The ones in bold are the ones that relate to me}

You invoke the name of Elbereth against Twilight movie posters. (I really need to start doing this!)

You tape your ears to make them pointy.

You try to communicate with trees.

You keep an eye out for the Entwives. (does keeping an eye out for Maglor count????)

You name buildings after places in Middle-earth.

You shout "Aiya Eärendil elenion ancalima!" whenever you see Venus or turn on a flashlight. (Again, next time I turn on a flashlight...)

You call the Big Dipper the Sickle of the Valar.

You can recite family lines from the Appendices without looking. (From the Silmarillion, the houses of Hador, Finwe, Elwe, Olwe, and Elmo!)

Your family knows not to ask you a question about LotR - they will get a long complex lecture when they just want a simple answer.

You can talk for ten minutes about something in the movies, but you fuss at anyone else who speaks.

You don't really need to watch the movies AGAIN, because you have all the dialog memorized - for the Extended Edition.

You cry at some point during all three movies.

You stop in your tracks and salivate whenever you see an LotR item you don't have.

Almost every sentence you say has something to do with LOTR.

Your teacher mentioning Orlando Bloom in a conversation in English class makes you laugh for an hour.

You spend your free time either a) studying Elven history or b) studying Elvish. Or both, of course.

You get annoyed whenever a book says the adjective form of elf is "elfin" instead of "elvish".

If you've also read Percy Jackson and the Olympians, you have an overwhelming impulse to call the Stoll brothers Merry and Pippin.

When a test review in a foreign language class asks you how to say "thank you", your first reaction is "hannon le".

However, nowhere in any of the books is the name 'Tauriel' even mentioned, much less your scandalous and entirely inappropriate relationship with her!" Crack. Anti Legolas/Tauriel. Hobbit 2 spoilers.
