Hey I'm a 21 year old guy who has recently rediscovered my passion for fanfiction. I'm more of than willing to talk with anyone who wants about story ideas or just life in general, anything to get the mind going. Editing and Betaing are two things I am not the most experienced in, but if your story is worth reading then I'm more than willing out any author, whether you are green or seasoned. However, I do not read any slash. I'm fine that it exists (even though a good of amount of the stories are just plain bad as stories), I just don't want to read about my favorite fictional characters in a bad par Day of 50 shades.

I always make it a point to review a story I have read because reviews are a wonderful source of inspiration and the commentary allows the author to gain a better insight on what they are writing as well as how the reader is responding to it. The 5 minutes it takes to tell the author and other readers why you like (or don't like) a story pales in comparison to the time it takes to write the works you are reading. Obviously if you are going to write on the negative points of a story make sure its constructive criticism and not mindless rants and flaming. Also be sure to try and include something you like about the story even if it's a negative review so you don't dishearten the writer to the point that they stop writing. Unfortunately nobody is paid on here, although some authors damn well should be, so motivation is key in working on expanding the fandoms we love.
