Author has written 8 stories for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, and Full Metal Panic.
To be honest, I'm more of a reader than a writer so I completely empathesize with those who will be up-in-arms at my inconsistent updates - my apologies in advance. I totally feel you guys... sigh
In the meantime, I'm gonna ride this unpredictable creative wave for as long as I can. Hope you guys enjoy the ride as much as I do!
The Perfect Catalyst
This is my long-running project and my healthy growing baby. Please be patient with it. The entire story is planned, down to the epilogue, so yes an ending is in sight. A long ways away, most likely, but rest assured there is one.
Chapter 3 is complete and released. My inspiration for this chapter: Ohno Satoshi's (of Japanese Idol group, Arashi) complete inability to hold children - instead carrying them like bags of potatoes. Yes- that is my Leader, for you.
Chapter 4 is complete and released!
Chapter 4.5 is finally done! Not 100 happy with it, but at this point, I'm too frustrated with this chapter to continue working on it.
Chapter 5 is done and released. Thank goodness this day is over.
Chapter 6 is done and released. OMFG. Small fact: Google does solve most of my problems.
Chapter 6.5 is a teaser and is done, but won't be released until Chapter 7 is ready for editing.
Chapter 7 is coming along...
A Pleasant Diversion
After catching up on all my FMP reading, and rewatching the entire series, I really really really wanted to write something for the clumsy, yet endearing pairing that is Sousuke/Kaname. Really, this story stemmed from a single question: "What would Kaname's hair look like curled?", which then begged the question, "When would Kaname ever curl her hair?" and here we have the answer to those questions...
- Prologue is completed and posted.
- Preparations is completed and posted. Sorry for the long wait.
- Bulk of Action & Diversion has already been pre-prepared (am now in the process of filling in the gaps - damn action scenes are so not my forte) - the entire story revolves around this one scene; I'm sure you'll recognize it when you read it.
- The final scenes of the Epilogue are done.
As you can tell, the bare bones of the entire story is already done, so I'll just be adding the meat and seasoning in the next little bit. Updates should be flying out (EDIT: by flying I reallly mean crawling).
I really enjoyed writing Apollo/Trucy interactions in my first one-shot, so I kind of wanted to do something with them again. I considered adding an Interlude chapter from the crazy duo's perspective in TPC but, then I realized it wouldn't be coming for a looooong time in that storyline, so I spontaneously started to write something new. Can you tell I've been replaying Justice for All? Although I wanted to refresh my memory on case 4 for a completely different reason - chapter 7 in TPC will reveal all...
Written in honour of Valentine's Day! I had the sudden desire to write a one-shot, so I did - in one-shot too. Inspiration: the one random line in chapter 3 of TPC, where I offhandedly mentioned that Klavier had been "perceived" by Apollo before.
Through the Looking Glass
Don't know what possessed me to write this random piece. My best attempt at something somewhat insightful, I suppose. Kristoph is really such a mystery to me, to the point where I cannot write his character, so I confess: I glossed over him. But, the main focus was supposed to be Ema and Klavier's individual characters and their developing friendship - to remind myself that they can get along normally.
Larger than Life
Stemmed from my frustration with the recently released Arashi 2009-2010 calendar, where this was this ONE particular photo of Sakurai Sho (of Yatterman and Honey and Clover fame) was hanging off a pole with money coming out of his pants. A little too much for me... Anyhow, Klavier Gavin is definitely modelling material, so it seemed appropriate to place him in such a situation.
Also inspired from an awesome Legend of Zelda fic by Crazygurlmadness called Photoshoot. She's an incredible author, go read her stories if you're interested in LoZ!
More than Just a Title
In the midst of writing A Pleasant Diversion, I had this vivid image of Ema firing a gun. After some thought, I realized that Ema is, despite it all, part of the police force, so it is totally possible for her to fire a gun. And this is how Klavier would react...
A Turnabout Fairytale: Cinderema
Don't... just don't ask. Haha~ No idea what brought about this one shot. I grew up with Disney movies and absolutely love fairytales. So as per usual, during my nightly shower, my creative juices started to flow... and I realized that Cinderella easily could be adapted into Cinderema. This story taught me that fairytales are hard to write.
A FEW WORDS ABOUT REVIEWS: I was sent an absolutely lovely review via PM that was thorough to the point the writer thought he/she was being "insensitive". I think no such thing! Please continue to send blunt and critical reviews (PM me if you wish to be more personal) - they are extremly helpful as they help me reassess the entire story (including characters, plotline, and future direction). I truly enjoy both negative and positive comments - the more perspectives the better. Specifically, please point out any plot holes you find and if you feel there's anyone out of character. I'm sure everyone has their own impression of each of the characters, so it really helps me build a more rounded character in the story if I can see it from different perspectives. Now, though I always aim to keep an open mind, I do have my own ideas and tend to stick to them, so please do not be offended if I do not incorporate your view into my story - but do not let that deter you from sending your comments! Again, I love all forms of comments!
A BIG THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO'S REVIEWED SO FAR! YOU GUYS ARE TRULY WONDERFUL AND HAVE HELPED ME TO NO END. TAKE CARE AND ALL THE BEST!
