Author has written 34 stories for Inuyasha, Gundam Wing/AC, Soul Eater, Fairy Tail, and Yu Yu Hakusho.
A little bit about me. In fan fiction years I’m old (lets leave it at that). I’m a mother of one. I’m still happily married to my high school sweetheart (who says love never lasts?). In the real world I enjoy killing my free time by working on home renovation projects, furniture makeovers, and wasting valuable time I don’t have scrolling through Pinterest and Tumblr. Some of my short term goals in life include building a house from the ground up and publishing a book. Long term goals include travel, travel, and more travel. And probably some other things too, because I’m a glutton for punishment and love taking on too much at once.
I have officially started to rewrite To the Flame into an original novel. I know there was handful of people who expressed some interest in it, so I’ll be posting updates here. I am estimating it will probably total around 80-100k words. :)

The "If You Like It Enough to Fav/Follow Then Please Review (at least once) Policy:
Lets just be real here for a moment, shall we? When I put this at the end of my chapters/fics it is not to discredit anyone. It is to remind readers that, as an author, I am posting my work for feedback. Yes, the favorites and follows are appreciated. Yes, it makes me proud to see that there are so many people following my work. But I (and a lot of other writers) would be flat out lying if they told you that when they get those alerts flooding into their inbox about fav/follows but ony a few reviews - it kinda feels like a slap in the face.
Let me put it into perspective.
Lets say I spent hours knitting a beautiful blanket, I worked really hard on it and wanted it to be the very best it could be, and I gave it to a lovely couple for a wedding present. The couple come back from the honeymoon and I don't hear anything from them. Weeks go by, and I notice that the blanket I worked so hard on is laying over the couch and being used - that's great! That's what I made it for. Only, wouldn't it have been nice if said couple sent even a simple thank you note? Or made a simple phone call?
That's kind of what it feels like. Those favs/follows, while flattering, just read as numbers. In a review I see a person. I LOVE seeing your guys' reactions to my chapters. If there was no review system ... well, I wouldn't be writing fanfiction at all. I'd be writing something original that I could at least have the chance of making some money for my efforts.
Reviews ARE a fanfic author's payment
I am guilty of not always reviewing, I know. It is something that I have been working at remedying. Especially with one shots. It is SO easy to enjoy a one shot and just move on because, hey, it's not like it's ever going to update. Sometimes, as readers, even us authors forget the time and effort it takes even for a short drabble. And they DO take effort. I know I probably spent a good five hours (at least) agonizing over Love Bleeds The Color Red even though it's less than a thousand words.
Writers are taking time out of their lives and taking little pieces of themselves (because lets face it, writing is a personal thing) and putting it out there in the form of a story. If other authors are anything like me then they are probably waiting eagerly for those little emails to come through with responses.
So lets start a movement - authors and readers alike. If you like a story enough to fav/follow then you should like it enough to take a few extra minutes to review those one-shots and review at least once if it is a chapter story. Lets all try to be people instead of just a number. Lets try to make the fanfiction community one that supports eachother instead of sits quietly on the sidelines.
(Authors and Readers, please pass this message on in either your words or mine if this is something you feel strongly about as well.)
And, because I never remember to post it in the stories, I do not own Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, Gundam Wing, Soul Eater, Fairy Tail or any other copyrighted work that I happen to use in my stories. I just borrow the characters - hence being posted on a Fan Fiction site. Thank you.
