updated 06/11/05 I'm 17 and when I first saw Escaflowne I had no idea that I'd like it enough to write about it. Escaflowne was my favourite Anime by far with Princess Mononoke as a very close second.Princess Mononokewas the only Anime that both me and my brother actually liked. Usually either he likes it and I don't orI like it and he doesn't. Some examples are Escaflowne (I like it)and Gundam Wing (he likes it). Not that I have anything against Gundam Wing, it's just it's not my type of show. I'm really into Inuyasha at the moment, though I tend to miss a lot of episodes due to fencing practice. Well anyways I've been babling on and on and I'm sure you don't want to hear it...err...read it so...I'm going to continue. If you didn't want to hear me drone on and on, you shouldn't have come here.

So, I also like Harry Potter, it's such a good series! Of course, I don't like it as much as I used to, but I still think it's good. I think all the hype about always makes me expect it to be more than it is, though, so I think that might be part of it.

Anyway,other books I like include, but are not limited to,the His Dark Materials trilogy (HDM), anything by Tamora Pierce, Lord of the Rings, Abhorsen, Acorna, The Time Traveller's Wife, books by L. M. Montgomery, The Guests of War Trilogy, and, well, many many others.

I had this obsession with Wolf from The 10th Kingdom, and therefore with Scott Cohen. It lasted a few months. I even emailed him and was planning to write him to ask for an autographed photo of him. Though I'm not obsessed anymore, I still find him a really good actor. He was in Gilmore Girls for a bit, for any of you GG fans. He was Max Madina, I think. I also started an RPG for the 10th Kingdom. I haven't been there in years though...

Unfortunately, (or fortunately, depending on your viewpoint) I've discotinued both my fics. I might start up "The Girl with the Raven Hair' at some point, but it's very unlikely. Sorry to anyone who was reading it. "There's Something About Mary" though will never be taken up again as I read it through and hated it. It is not salvageable. It was fun to write at the time, but hell to read; which is my opinion of all fics that happen to be Mary Sues. Bleck. I wish I had known what a Mary Sue was before I started writting it... I would like to thank every one of the people that reviewed me with that information, as it knocked some sense into me. No worries if any of you thought you were too harsh, you were just telling me what I already knew, but didn't want to admit. I just recently got around to deleting it off the site as it made me cringe when I went back to read it.

Though I am not, at present, posting any fanfics, I am in the process of planning a Harry Potter fic that is to take place in the present and is set in Canada. It really doesn't have much to do with the Harry Potter series except for the fact that it is set in that world. There will be very few canon characters, if any at all, and since it is set in the present, it is at least seven years since the end of the seventh book.There might be a few mentions of the original series, but nothing very important. I have decided not to post it at all until I have finished writing it since I have a nasty habit of giving up on stories, and I don't want to leave anyone disapointed. So, due to my very refined skills of procrastination, do not expect this story for another couple of years, at least.

I'm also planning a novel with one of my best friends (and no, there are not really any Mary sue-type characters in it, if one of us writes one accidentally, the other one mentions it). And this is a wonderful example of procrastination on both of our parts. We came up with the idea near the end of grade 9, it is now the summer after grade 12 and we're still in the planning stages!
