![]() Author has written 31 stories for Phantom of the Opera, and Star Wars. Hello, I'm Not A Ghost3, and welcome to my FanFiction Page! tumblr: notaghost3 AO3: NotAGhost3 Since it seems to be a common question, my username comes from one of my favorite quotes in The Phantom of the Opera: “No, he is not a ghost; he is a man of Heaven and earth, that is all." -- Gaston Leroux The Phantom of the Opera. I am a Christian and thankful that I am! If you don't know who Jesus is, just know that he loves you and died for you to save you from sin. Not only did he die for you, but he rose for you on the third day. How amazing is that! But, if you believe in him and confess your sins, he will save you! Just know that there is always hope, and it's just a prayer away. Favorite Fandoms: The Phantom of the Opera, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, The Twilight Zone, Broadway (and I mean anything and everything Broadway!), Anastasia, Disney, Sherlock, The Hunger Games, Gravity Falls, Over the Garden Wall, Twilight, Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, Star Wars, Marvel, Mermaids, and Dolly Parton. About my stories: (in no particular order) When Words Fail: HIATUS *Christmas Countdown has started!* This is my longest story, and it’s not even a continuous story! The great thing about When Words Fail is that you don’t have to read it in any particular order. It’s a collection of one-shots, some are light and fluffy and a few are darker (my halloween chapters, “Come Little Children” and "Don't Fear the Reaper".), each chapter zoning in on snippets of Erik and Christine. I also have a little universe going in called my “Always” universe that chapters 1, 25, and 50 follow, I plan on every 25 chapters to have a one-shot in the Always universe. So if you’re in the mood for something short and sweet, just randomly pick a chapter and go for it! They were wrote to make you smile! Every Christmas I do a series of anywhere from 5 to 6 Christmas themed one-shots in a row as a countdown to Christmas. I don’t update nearly as often as I like, but my goal is to write and publish a one-shot once a month at least (something I’m failing miserably at), but I’ll always do Countdown to Christmas- so that’s something to look forward to and to ‘always’ count on! There’s no end in sight at the moment for these one-shots, so no worry about them ending anytime soon! Of the Angels: HIATUS Of the Angels is a retelling of the Phantom of the Opera with my own personal flair. This was one of my very first stories I ever wrote and I still have a soft spot for it. At the moment it is on Hiatus until my muse for it comes back. One of these days I’ll go back to it and maybe do a rewrite as my writing style and technique has improved a lot since I started writing it a few years ago! Though, I do appreciate the love (and constructive criticism!), I don’t see this story moving forward anytime soon…but things could always change! So keep your notifications for it on and you might just be surprised! Heck- I’ll be surprised! Guard: While not the first piece of fan fiction I wrote, this was my first piece I published here on this site. I wrote it long before I even joined the sight, so it sat handwritten in a composition notebook for years before I had the courage to publish it! It’s not my proudest work and I was still figuring out my style back then, but I’m sentimental towards it and showcases my first attempt at a ‘case of mistaken identity’ story as I like to call it. It’s my shortest story, so if you’re looking for something a little angsty that’s a quick read- check it out! You just might like it. Graveyard Fields: Ahh….Graveyard Fields…why this story got as many reviews as it has I may never know, nor do I really want to as I am exceptionally grateful for each and every one of them. This story was my very first horror one-shot, and *SPOILER* as most of my horror one-shots tend to be: is focused around Miss Daaé and her declining sanity. *SPOILER END* This story is near to my heart because it's another story that sat in a composition notebook for a long time before getting published. It’s a nice twist on the common Christine goes back to bury Erik theme and very Leroux (in my opinion anyway). Another short-y coming in just over 800 words, so a good read if you’re looking for a quick scare! Three Wishes: This is by far my favorite story that I have ever wrote! It was inspired by the Twilight Zone episode (which is my favorite Television show!) called “The Man in the Bottle”. This story explores Christine (don’t all my horror one-shots? ; p) finding a mysterious ‘souvenir’ that Erik acquired in Persia and the twisted consequences that follow her choices. This is also incredibly Leroux-canon (as most of my stories are) and I loved writing this one! Definitely a good one to read around Halloween if you’re in the spooky mood, but instead of morbid you’re looking for more of a twist… Protected: One of my few stories that isn’t strictly Leroux-canon, Protected is another of my ‘case of mistaken identity’ stories. It’s not quite as morbid as it is suspenseful and shocking. *SPOILER* As with most of my horror one-shots, Christine gets the brunt of things in this story, and there is character death so watch out for that if you read this one *SPOILER END* Good read if you like dark stories and suspense! Eradication: Eradication is another of my favorites and another Leroux story. This one is VERY morbid and *SPOILER* features character death *SPOILER END* While actually not inspired by, I’ve been told it has reminded people of The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe. I take that as a huge compliment! I went back and re-read the Tell-Tale Heart and I can certainly see the similarity but the story was not inspired by it, nor was it meant to appear as if I was copying Poe’s story, there’s just some similarity theme wise. : ) But this is another great Halloween story. I always try and post a Halloween horror one-shot every year (though I fail miserably and it usually doesn’t get posted until November 3rd of 4th…) This story centers around Christine as she seeks to find and eradicate an irritating ‘thumping’ noise in the little house under the lake…Once again, love this story! Caught Between Midnight and Dawn: This story was wrote for a contest (Got 1st place!) to write a one-shot based off of the prompt “Erik- I have returned!”, and as always, my twisted mind saw this and thought “Gee- this would make a good horror prompt” and thus, this story was born. It’s definitely my weirdest story and it makes sense in my mind, but what makes sense in my head doesn’t always make sense on paper- so don’t be worried if you’re confused! It still confuses me a bit! haha. This horror one-shot actually follows Erik (surprise!), but Christine still is the one getting the brunt of things! Poor Christine… O Christmas Tree: My first one-shot contest! A cute little one-shot split in half about Modern! Erik and Christine and their daughter (my fav OC) Opal shopping for a Christmas Tree. This was written as a sample entry for a Christmas one-shot contest I hosted (and I plan to host again!). I loved hosting a one-shot contest and I received a lot more entry than I ever imagined I would! Lots of fun and we even got this cute fluffy one-shot out of it! White Roses Red: White Roses Red is the sample one-shot written for my Valentine’s one-shot contest I hosted. It is the most ‘adult’ story I’ve ever written and the second chapter is actually an alternative ending if the first ending left you wanting more. Pretty morbid, pretty twisted and deals with a recurring nightmare and Erik and Christine get a bit x-rated in a graveyard….in a strange not romantic way…semi disturbing- read at your own risk on this one! (And the rest of my horror one-shots for that matter!) Mirror Image: Mirror Image was a little plot bunny that kept bugging me until I wrote it down and it sat in my computer files for a good while before I had the courage to post it! *SPOILER* Erik and Christine have been married for five years and Christine wants a bit attention *cough* sex *cough* from her husband. Unfortunately Erik has been avoiding her because he thinks she is scared of his face after she had a nightmare (that wasn't about him...) *END SPOILER* I really love this story and it's a pretty strong M rating but nothing over the top. Once Upon A Dream: Another sample One-shot for my Halloween one-shot contest! It's more supernatural/mystery than anything and someone's a ghost but...who? Hmm... Now completed! I've wanted to write this story for a LONG time and it was inspired by one of my favorite movies, Gaslight, although there really aren't many similarities other than it being a ghost story. Battle Lights: This is a sample one-shot for my 2nd annual Phantom Christmas One-Shot Contest that's split into three parts because of site posting rules, and I just think that this story is SO CUTE! I'm in love with this version of Erik and Christine. It's a Modern AU that's mainly Leroux based (or as Leroux as you can get in a Modern AU. Full face deformity, Blonde Christine, etc.) with Erik and Christine as across the street neighbors who have a bit of a heated Christmas Light-off competition of sorts. Will they work things out and become something more or become nothing more than bitter neighbors? You'll just to read and find out...Now complete and the winners are posted! Delirium Kisses: This is a sample one-shot for my 2nd annual Phantom's Valentine One-Shot Contest! Basically, it's Valentine's Day, but Erik is sick. He's upset that he can't take Christine out for Valentine's day and through his delirium tries to make it romantic and special for Christine anyway. Modern E/C fluff! Cute! UPDATE: Winners posted along with a bonus one-shot of their first meeting at Meg's wedding! Unmasked Realizations: An angst one-shot following the "five times/one time" theme that gained some popularity. My take on the writing prompt is the five times Erik didn't remove his mask and the one time he did! It's a collection of six drabbles all compiled into a one-shot. Sad, but can also be romantic if you take a different perspective! E/C. Devil With the Blue Dress On: HIATUS. Oh, this is going to be a fun one! It's more on the side of humor with a little teeny tiny bit of supernatural if you squint. It's a Modern AU told from Erik's point of view and it's not really in a set cannonverse. I usually tend to write more Leroux based, so most things are going to be more similar to Leroux than anything else.*SPOILER* So this is based off a prompt I saw where someone almost died as a baby and Death has spent all of its time following this person around waiting for them to die since they didn't die when they were supposed to. HOWEVER, Death ends up falling in love with said person and becomes impatient for their death. So Death decides to take the form of a human to attract this person so that they can then kill the person and have them joined together in eternity. *SPOILER END* So I plan on this story to be about five chapters long, maybe longer, maybe shorter. I had a lot of fun writing the first chapter, so I would LOVE if you would check it out! E/C. Updates bi-weekly (hopefully!). Heathens: Drabble vampire fic wrote for Kinktober/Naughty November (is there even a name for December? lol)- It's now finished! Dark, not a happily ever after story, strong M rating! Home for Christmas: 2018 Christmas fic where Christine gets stranded and has to depend on stranger (Erik) to get her home for Christmas. Tensions rise and affection may be forming under the surface...still updating! The Forgotten: R/C and Civil War AU that I wrote for littlelonghairedoutlaw's AU contest- got 2nd place! I am being completely and utterly honest when I say that this might be my absolute favorite thing I have ever wrote. R/C is not my otp (as I think is very obvious) so this was way out of my comfort zone to write, but man it gave it me a whole new perspective on Raoul. He is so stinkin' sweet! This story didn't get a lot of attention and I wish it got more because I love it to death. It's told in a series of drabbles or snapshots of their life before, during, and after the Civil War. There are so many more snapshots I wanted to include, but it's already 6k words so I left it as it was and I feel very satisfied with the end product. So if you get a chance, check this one out! It's actually my favorite story. Wicked Game: Anyone remember Delirium Kisses? Well there was a 13 Days of Halloween Phics on Tumblr and I wrote this for that. It is in my Delirium Kisses and I like to think that it is their first or second halloween together as a married couple. I didn't specify in the story, so up to your imagination! It's my first fluffy Halloween story and I had a lot of fun revisiting this universe! Snow is Softly Falling: This is the one-shot (there's actually going to be 2!) that I wrote for littlelonghairedoutlaw for her 1st place prize for the 2018 Christmas contest! It's set in one of my dearest AUs to me (it actually hasn't been published yet, so this is the first I've published in this verse) that I call my Bookstore AU. It's set late 20th century (I haven't decided on a specific time period yet, so I left it ambiguous.) I have a better description of the AU in the a/n of the one-shot, but I don't want to give too much away until I publish the full story! (whenever that may be). Also contains the rules for the 2019 Christmas one-shot challenge! Days of Glory: HIATUS This is a drabble phic (there's going to be a loooooot of drabbles) following Philippe's life from childhood all the way up to that fateful night below the Opera house. I felt I needed to write this because the brotherly love between Philippe and Raoul needs more attention and my heart just needed to write a good Leroux story. Slowly updating! May the Fourth Be With You: Set in my Delirium Kisses AU, this is Modern E/C humor/fluff set on Star Wars Day because this particular Erik is a highkey Star Wars fan and was basically an excuse for me to write in a ton of tiny Star Wars details and nods and I heard that there was talk of babymaking...? During Bendemption...? ;) My Beloved Monster: HIATUS Shrek AU! Ahahahaha this idea came to me as I'm a Believer played on my radio and I had to write it! I only have the prologue up but I promise more is coming, just not sure when! Woven Together: My very first Star Wars story! Reylo and set between TLJ and TROS but closer to TROS since the lightsaber has been fixed! It's going to be 7 chapters and was written solely because I wanted to read more hair-braiding fluff between them in a canon setting and I couldn't find much so I decided to write my own! Still trying to get a handle on the characters as I don't usually write in that fandom, but I think it's going pretty good! Tiny Dancer: Ohhh this one is near and dear to me! It's a Philippe/Sorelli 70s AU set in L.A. inspired by the Elton John song and it turned out more angsty than I intended, but I really like it! I think the 70s really fit them and there was a lot of scenes I wanted to write and add in and flesh out, but who knows! Maybe one day I'll publish some outtakes! Also featuring lil' teenage Raoul! Duty: Ahhhh, I'm in my Obitine feels and I know Korkie IS A KENOBI IN MY HEART I have a few upcoming stories in the works (at the moment a Modern AU has most of my attention), most of them one-shots, so be on the lookout! :) "No story lives unless someone wants to listen." |
