Author has written 1 story for Sherlock.

Hello, Irillia here! I'm new to this whole fanfiction thing and think it's very exciting! The Adventure of the Burgeoning Blogger is the very first fanfiction I've ever written. (Well, unless you count that weird Harry Potter thing I wrote in, like, elementary school.) For me, the purpose of writing fanfiction is both to have a great time and to improve my writing. With that last in mind, please PM me or stop by the comments to let me know how I did! (I'm one of those people who loves the really long comments that tell me everything I did wrong, in nit-picky detail. Well, who am I kidding--I love any comments.)

When I'm not writing fanfiction, I'm probably writing, um, fiction-fiction. That or reading. Or (let's be honest here) doing homework. Sigh.

I'm writing fanfiction for Sherlock at the moment, because that television show has surpassed every other in BLOWING MY MIND. I'm considering branching out a bit, though. I'm pretty fanatical about The Name of the Wind (Kingkiller Chronicles), the Harry Potter series, the Lord of the Rings, Downton Abbey (and pretty much any other Masterpiece television show; hence Sherlock), all of Jane Austen's books, and a wide variety of other books that probably wouldn't make for very good fanfiction because they are rather obscure.

itanejiluver is my ff.net BFF, even though we write for very different fandoms and have sworn never to read each other's fics. (A friend who I want to KEEP!)

I've got a pretty heavy courseload this semester. If that results in less-frequent updates, I sincerely apologize, and invite you to write angry letters to my teachers. Of course, these are the same teachers who I ignore during class time (not at all because I'm doodling... oh no, NOT AT ALL), so maybe they're only being reasonable. Ehh...
