Q can't remember the mission, the objective, or any of the circumstances regarding the room he woke up in, but if the copious amounts of pain and the sounds of Bond throwing bodies like frisbees on the other end of his radio are any indication, then it can't be anything worse than the usual misfortune.

Tony is used to being alone on Thanksgiving, thank you very much. But when Barton tries and hilariously fails at comforting him for whatever reason, and people start showing up at his living room, he suspects there are Plans he did not know about.

Everything was perfect. Everything. The smell of Peter's breakfast cooking, waking up next to Gamora in her cabin… Of course everything was perfect. That's why I knew things were going to go south. Fast.

Of all the people to help him begin to get over his pain at the life he had lost and his subsequent re-entry into the modern world, Steve hadn't expected it to be Jane Foster to be the one who did it.

Steve kept it hidden from Fury, from Banner, from everyone but Stark. Tony knew that and treasured it as the twisted sign of respect that it was.

"Ain't no thing like me, except me..." Then Starlord came along and called him a raccoon. It didn't translate, no one else in the galaxy he'd met had heard of a raccoon, no one except Peter Quill. So, being the proud being he was, Rocket went to find out just what the hell a raccoon was.

"I guess I'm still human enough to be taken down by something as mundane as a blow to the head after all." Peter takes a rather nasty blow to the head during a fight and the others are left to deal with a very concussed and loopy Starlord afterward. Lots of Peter!whump and concerned!Guardians inside!

Nothing says Christmas like trying to keep the two adopted daughters of a psychotic alien death-god from killing each other.

Sometimes, it felt like they could really only stand one another when they were exhausted. Maybe it was because there was only so much energy you could expend on keeping your guard up, and when you let it fall it became harder to forget that these two people you shared a floor with were the closest things you would ever have to family in the entire universe.

With Christmas approaching, it soon became apparent to all aboard the Enterprise that Leonard McCoy would much rather deck others in the hall than spread the holiday cheer.
