Castle fan from the USA heartland since episode 1x01 in 2009.

Been a FF reader for some time now, and enjoy the writers I have met along the way (check out Favorite Writers...I highly recommend each of them). My Favorite Writers section includes those writers whose work I find to be exceptional...this is based on the quality of their work (grammar, descriptive skills), the creativity of their stories, the quality and depth of their storylines (research), the variety of their skills (romance, humor, banter, ugh-angst), their ability to update regularly and complete their stories. As a reader, I have become more comfortable leaving reviews than I did initially, but I don't leave reviews for every story or every chapter.

I enjoy our Caskett duo for their teasing, flirting, banter, innuendo, and the romance they share. I especially enjoy jealous Beckett and jealous Castle. While many fans have only a couple characters they like best, I really like them all and believe they each add to the show's overall strength and appeal. I miss Captain Montgomery, he was a great character for the show.

Favorite Episodes include (but not limited to): (when I started this list I thought it might be a handful of episodes per season...hmmm)

Season 1: all of the first season episodes were great (the show hooked me quickly), but special favorites are: Flowers For Your Grave, Hell Hath No Fury, Hedge Fund Homeboy ("Guess who has a date with a prostitute?"), Always Buy Retail ("I really am ruggedly handsome"), Home Is Where The Heart Stops (jealous Beckett at the dance?), Little Girl Lost (jealous Castle?).

Season 2: another season filled with great episodes, especially Deep in Death (Castle's apology), Double Down, Inventing The Girl (jealous Beckett?), When The Bough Breaks, Love Me Dead, A Rose For Everafter (one of my all-time favorites..."He's all yours now"), Sucker Punch, Tick Tick Tick and Boom (loved Special Agent Jordan Shaw prodding the Caskett relationship), Food To Die For (Maddie also poking the Caskett relationship).

Season 3: Lots from which to choose, but here are some favorites: A Deadly Affair, He's Dead She's Dead, 3XK, Almost Famous, Close Encounters Of The Murderous Kind ("I wish it were a hickie"), Last Call (Castle buys The Old Haunt), Nikki Heat, Knockdown, Setup and Countdown, One Life To Lose, The Dead Pool (Kate admits to being a "one writer girl"), Love and Die In L.A., and Knockout (Castle confesses his love to Kate...ugh as she lays dying).

Season 4: Another strong season from which to select: Rise, Heroes and Villains, Eye Of The Beholder (another jealous Beckett), Cops and Robbers, Heartbreak Hotel (Castle as Elvis...hahaha!), Cuffed, Til Death Do Us Part (Kate & Rick at Ryan's wedding), Pandora and Linchpin, Undead Again, Always (duh--shut the front door!).

Season 5: After The Storm, Cloudy With A Chance Of Murder, Murder He Wrote, The Final Frontier (one of my all-time favorites), Significant Others, Recoil (how Beckett saved Bracken from the bomb spoke volumes about her character), Target and Hunt (casting James Brolin as Rick's father is genius), The Wild Rover (Kevin calls out his team when he is cornered at the docks), The Lives Of Others (another all-time favorite), Still (another all-time favorite for obvious reasons...Kate says "ILY"!), Watershed.

Season 6: Valkyrie and Dreamworld (Kate accepts Rick's proposal!), Number One Fan, Time Will Tell (does Kate begin to believe in their "future"?), Like Father Like Daughter, The Good The Bad and The Baby (Kate and Rick caring for the baby was hysterical), Under Fire, Deep Cover (Kate meets Rick's father), Dressed To Kill (which is what we all wanted to do with "the dress"), Smells Like Team Spirit, That 70's Show, Veritas (Kate arrests her Mom's killer!!! another all-time favorite).

Season 7: since at the time of writing this the season 7 is still weeks away, my favorite episodes I hope to see include: Kate and the guys finding Castle and catching the perpetrator(s), Kate and Rick catching 3XK and his accomplice Doctor, Kate and Rick getting married in a real ceremony...like the one that was stolen from us in 6x23!

I do not like it when MilMar toys with our favorite duo like in the final episode of season six...our characters and the fans deserve to be treated better than that.
