Author has written 1 story for Lord of the Rings.

"...a woman must have money and a room of her own if she is to write fiction; and that, as you see, leaves the great problem of the true nature of women and the true nature of fiction unsolved...Women and fiction remain, so far as I'm concerned, unsolved problems."
~Virginia Woolf

In Hopeful Appeasment of the Commenter Here Named "whatever"

Thank you muchly, my faithful readers, for all the support you continue to give me. Normally I wait until I post the next chapter to respond to your comments, but since my schedule is heretofore rather unreliable, I couldn't help but respond to one commenter's thoughts, because they just made me laugh with their response to chapter 6.

To "whatever": Thank you for your kind words regarding my story; I'm glad you stumbled across it (and even more importantly enjoyed it) and extend my most heartfelt "welcome" to you. In response to your Chapter 6 comment: Of course Sam isn't leaving Rose...reread the first chapter if you have any qualms. The trouble lies in those pesky Shirelings...can't trust a thing they say at times. They are good ones for tales, and take pleasure in creating stories from smoke if need be. At the moment, the happenings of Sam and Rose are likely targets. They thought Rose was leaving Sam first, didn't they? Now they know that Sam has run off as well...and dun dun dun the plot will continue to thicken. I think my plot bunny is finally waking up, and so you might be seeing Chapter 6 Part II shortly (though I can't promise anything with my current schedule). So you'll just have to wait and see. But rest assured that I guard Sam's character with my life: he is the dearest literary character I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with, and quite close to my heart. No harm shall come to either he nor Rose at the command of my pen, and that's a promise ;)

Amelia Rose: huggles x 1000 Thank you sooooo much for remaining with me through all this time...it's a shame really that I have put you through such trials between chapters. You don't know how much it means to have you still reading...it's nice to know that you haven't given up on me, even in my idle states. And of course there will be a happy ending...no good trying to write hobbit fluff without it ;)

UPDATE: I've put up part one of chapter six...you'll see my explination when you get there. It's not finished, but you all have been so patient, and you always greet me so nicely when I come back that I felt the least I could do was to give you the little bit I have written...even if I'm not happy with it, you might be :)

ATTENTION: haha, it's not really that important, but i hope it gets your attention anyway. I am now the owner of a spiffy new laptop, thanks to months of working for a measly 5.50 an hour and staring for hour upon silent hour at a phone i was supposed to be answering despite the fact that it never rang. In any case, even though I have acquired this nifty piece of equipment, I now have zero down time to work on my story...college is taking over my entire waking life, and that which it has not consumed is dedicated to getting as much sleep as i possibly can. Chapter six is half written, but there is no hope of me getting it finished in the near future. I'm so sorry, but being an english major is tougher (and more fun :P) than i ever thought. Who knew I could actually get away with reading all day! So i'll do my best to grab a spare moment and finish lovely chapter six (which, up to this point, i am actually quite fond of) and best of luck to you all until i return. I'll still be around reviewing when I can though. hugs you all are the best.

Oh and guess what? They're making me read "All the King's Men" again. growls and looks down at her "books that should die" list Ah, cest la vie...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
First thing's first: I'm an LOTR and Harry Potter FANATIC!
Name: Julie
Age: 18 woo hoo
Favorite literary character of all time: Samwise Gamgee (can you tell by my first fic?)I'm telling you right now, if that lad were real, I'd marry him. Why are all the good ones fictional anyway! He's the heart and soul of LOTR and, for me at least, the real hero of the story. huggles Sam There will never be another one like him, that's for sure.
Ships: I was a Harry/Mione shipperat the verybeginning, but I think Ihave sincejumped off and started swimming toward the S.S. Hermione Weasley :) Also Sam/Rose, Eowyn/Faramir, Rani/Hal(Glasswright Series), Joan/Adam (Joan of Arcadia) Lupin/me (hee hee, grins mischieviously)
Other fave pieces of literature: The Secret Garden, East of Eden, The Glasswright Series, The Great Gatsby, and anything else I can get my hands on. While I'm thinking about it, the Obernewtyn Chronicles by Isobelle Carmody are AMAZING! Go read them...AH! A friend just bought book number four for me from Australia happy dance
Books that should die (and this is coming from the aspiring English major): All the Kings Men and Animal Farm
Fave Movies: other than LOTR and HP, Beauty and the Beast (all time favorite), the Mummy, Pirates of the Caribbean (mmm...orly...), The Matrix, Star Wars, Monster's INC., Finding Nemo (just keep swimming, just keep swimming...), Secret Window (Corn will forever more creep me out)
Music: a little of everything-country, pop, classical, classic rock, a little RB, rap, blues, jazz...I'm even a closet Hanson fan hides behind computer desk Garth Brooks rocks the house. BUY CHRIS THILE'S "DECEIVER" NOW you will not be disappointed.
Latest Music obsessions: Still Nickel Creek, a bluegrass-revival trio from southern California. Worship them!
I GOT TO MEET THEM! O_O They were fantastically nice people, so I came home from my first NC concert with pictures, autographs, and a huge smile on my face. They're coming back to my hometown this october, and I'm so excited to see them again it's not even funny.
UPDATE: Just got to see them AGAIN, and they were fantastic as usual. Didn't get to wait for them in the parking lot again though...my dad was tired and needed to get home. But that's ok. I've got another tshirt, another album, and another night of memories. Hurrah!
I am officially an english major...and there's nothing better in the world :D
"To know is nothing at all; to imagine is everything" ~some french dude...when I remember his name I'll tell you...
"It's the job that's never started as takes longest to finish, as my gaffer used to say," ~Samwise Gamgee
Though here at journey's end I lie
in darkness buried deep
Beyond all towers strong and high,
beyond all mountains steep
Above the shadows rides the Sun
and Stars forever dwell:
I will not say the day is done
nor bid the stars farewell!
