Friends to Lovers Twific Contest
“I realized I’m in love. It's always been right in front of me.” - Richelle Mead
Love comes sweetest when it's slow, but there's something to be said for falling so fast you can't control it. Whether it's Edward finding the courage to finally go after Bella, or Emmett having an epiphany about his attraction to Rosalie, we want to see friends that realize they don't want just friendship.
We want to see the change from 'I love you' to 'I'm in love with you'.
We want to see the beginning, the middle, and the type of love that won't end.
Any pairing, any setting, anything that involves the moment of realizing they want more.

Secret Keeper: @Shneezles
Special guest judge (tie-breaker extraordinaire): @abadkitty
Banner Makers: twilly/shneezles
Rules:3,000 to 15,000 words of any genre, any rating (though we'd prefer M, to keep our filthy judges happy), any pairing within the Twilight universe. We will not accept entries that include offensive subject matter such as (but not limited to) incest, rape, pedophilia, or bestiality.Entries are limited to one solo entry and one collaboration per author. Whether you're writing for the first time or a fanfiction veteran isn't important - we just want your words. This contest is anonymous. That means no one other than betas/pre-readers should have knowledge of which entry is yours. It also means pimping should be restricted to the contest as a whole, as opposed to the promotion of single entries. VERY IMPORTANT: Make sure not to publicly hint as to which entry is yours (including but not limited to which prompt was used, story content, word count, and when the entry was submitted) as this can lead to disqualification. Your entry should not be posted to your profile until results have been announced.Use of a beta is required. Entries should have a good standard of spelling and grammar. Emergency Beta Service, Project Team Beta and Sparkly Red Pen all have contest-specific services. Entries that are riddled with spelling or grammar mistakes will be returned to the author to be corrected before resubmission can occur.Entries will be received by the secret keeper, who will then make them anonymous before passing them on to the validator. Once the entry has been checked against the rules, acceptable submissions will then be posted on the profile.
Every entry should be based off one of the Friends episode titles being used as prompts shown here: PROMPTS. When submitting your entry, please indicate which number prompt(s) you're using in the appropriate header slot. Entries not using one of the prompts will not be accepted.
IMPORTANT. PLEASE READ: Don't get too caught up in the literal with the prompts. We're not looking for recreations of these episodes. Go your own way with it. Have fun! We want everything - humor, angst, drama, etc. We want to see how they went from the friend zone to the end zone.
Entries should be submitted to submissionsftl@ with the following submission header:

A message to our wonderful readers: In order to keep this contest fair, we ask that you please only pimp the contest as a whole and not single entries. All of these authors have worked very hard to offer up their words to you. Please leave them some love in the form of a review, and remember not to hint at anyone's identity if you happen to know it, as this can lead to disqualification.
Thank you! Enjoy the entries!
