2015: Wow. It's been about a year since I started the rewrite of Insane Escapees. I am now working on a few new projects. Plus learning all about my new job, which is taking forever. I've been thinking of all the stories I've read over the years, all the writers I've worked with, and what I want to do next. Well, what I really want to do next is retire but since I'm not that old yet, and I haven't won a huge windfall (i.e., lots of cash), then I think I have to keep working. So now I think of the things I can do next.

I am thinking of writing more fan fiction. I am going to do a Star Wars / Harry Potter cross-over, not just because everyone is doing it, but because I have some certain scenes in my head and until I get them written down, they keep popping up in my imagination... especially when I'm trying to sleep. This one, like most of what I write, will be a comedy. It will be based loosely off The Lone Traveler stories. Very loosely.

I am also thinking of what I can get written for publication. I have ideas on that as well. But I need to get with a friend of mine to see if he is interested in doing the artwork while he looks for a new job.

I am always looking to read new things and help anyone that wants me to assist with writing or beta reading stories.

I don't know when (or if) I will get back to the New Lives story. After shelving it (I had to keep moving around with different jobs for the past 7 years), I'm not so sure I want to go back to it. It is darker than I want it to be now that I've re-read it. I had always wanted to start the story out dark and then move it to a more lighthearted story with lots of comedy. I do like the work I've done in that story with the Troll, Binns, and that sex-crazy lady a few centuries in the past. The last two were going to be used more in later chapters. I may come back to it once I have more time. If I do, I will probably finish the story first before ever going back and re-writing the opening chapters.
