Author has written 4 stories for American Gothic.
You probably guessed by my name that I'm a fan of Joss Whedon...except for when he kills off his characters. Dabbled in fanfic writing over 10 years ago. Alas, real life intervened and now I'm content to just be a reader, although occasionally the writing itch comes upon me. May revisit some of my old stories if the mood strikes (and time permits) and post them - who knows?
Favorite New TV Shows
The Good Guys - Funny, action-packed with quirky villians and a cast of regular and recurring characters that blend together seamlessly. There's hardly any fanfic for this show and there are no Dan Stark/Ana Ruiz stories. What's up with that? They were partners a long time ago, they spent the night together a few years back, and there is clearly an affection and attraction between the two. And doesn't anyone else want to know what the story is behind the time the two of them blew up a taco truck when they were partners?
Hawaii Five-0 - What can be said about this show other than Steve McGarrett and Danny Williams. Virtual chocolate to whoever cast the actors because these two play off each other beautifully. The action and the plots and the rest of the cast are great, but for me, it's these two characters that make the show. Throughout the snarky arguments and car conversation debates, you can see the affection between the two partners. Whether it's gen or slash, the boys have chemistry.
Below are some of my favorite pairings (in no particular order):
Prison Break and Supernatural are two of my favs, although I hated the finale of PB. I just love the relationship between the brothers on both shows and enjoy stories that explore that relationship. Never had any interest in slash, but then I stumbled across some well-written slash stories for the brothers on these shows and found I liked those stories as well. That led me to check out slash pairings from other shows and movies, such as:
Jack/Ianto - Torchwood (and it's canon!)
