Author has written 1 story for Mass Effect.
I'm Dylan, i'm 22, i'm quite pale, and I love spicy chicken sandwiches.
I by no means claim to be a natural writer. I've always been more into athletic endeavors than something so...scholarly as writing. But I do consider myself a creative person and such my quaint Mass Effect-based story was born. I originally intended it to write what in my opinion was a terrible wrong in Mass Effect 3, which was the tragic conclusion of the Mass Effect series. (Not just the ending, I mean the whole game kinda wasn't written very well for a lot of it, mostly the Ashley relationship which I was faithful to. But yeah, my story's kinda went off on it's own at this point, taking a tried and true trope of entertainment and fusing it with my own humor and character development tricks, there's a lot of fun to be had reading it I think. I'm just getting started, believe it or not. I also am not objected against writing for other series, but my style is extremely deliberate and thus my chapters sometimes take longer to write than the average writer on this site so don't be surprised if my current endeavor (The Only Thing I Know For Real) to take a long time. So enjoy it, leave some constructive criticism or even kind words which I like. Either are appreciated and I value anybody who takes the time to read my story's opinions either through reviews or PMs.
There are other things besides ME that I like as well in video games and and whatnot. Like...Metal Gear Solid, Dragon Age (One of these two will probably be my follow-up to my Shepard & Ashley story. But that's a long way off.) Kingdom Hearts, Resident Evil, Devil May Cry (And NOT that Sniper-rifle abortion of a reboot) select Final Fantasies (X is my favorite, followed by VIII), Sly Cooper, among other things I'm forgetting no doubt. I basically avoid other pop culture like the plague so new shows and movies aren't my thing at all. The one strange thing I'm knowledgeable of is 90's anime. I really don't care for the newer stuff for the most part (I do give Naruto credit for having fun games though.)
I also am quite a maniacal sports fan, though I doubt it is much of a big deal to the fanbase here. My favorite teams are the Carolina Panthers, Memphis Grizzlies, Florida Gators, and Chicago Cubs. Also another quirky thing about me is my undying love for Puroresu, or Japanese wrestling. I promise I'm not some weirdo that's obsessed with Japan...besides their women. But anyway, it's truly great and involves so many emotions and unique moves that I can't help but enjoy it. I don't like American wrestling. But yeah, that's me in a nutshell without getting into awkward personal business, not that I'm hiding anything. We all face challenges after all. I suck.
The battle of life is, in most cases, fought uphill; and to win it without a struggle were perhaps to win it without honor. If there were no difficulties there would be no success; if there were nothing to struggle for, there would be nothing to be achieved.
