Ayyy, just a heads up, I am now a beta-reader on here!

:XXX:

Aaand To anyone who's actually reading that really long monster of a story... Welcome!

To the people commenting on the story - yeah, I've been a bit busy (y'know, college and stuff) I will get to posting the final chapter when I can, there just happen to be a lot of edits that are needed, plus some additional stuff that may or may not make it into the final draft of the chapter. Patience, please.

Tinker Trainer Slayer Spy was a personal project I set for myself as practice for creative writing (plus I live for How to Train Your Dragon). As of now it is a completed story! All you need to know is, it's one hell of a ride. Like a ton of others, I found that the httyd universe and its characters have so much potential for a good adventure story, something I've always wanted to write. There's war, betrayal, there's a bit of violence and definitely plenty of action, as well as little moments where the readers can catch their breath. The first chapters are slow, I get that, they were the first chapters of the first fic I ever wrote. (Actually no, they're downright painful to read). It's been a little under two years since they were posted. They only improve, I promise.

update as of 7/10/15: I'm attempting to do a big sweep of the fic so I can A. do edits and revising, B. compress a bunch of the chapters together, and C. add onto the story. Word count will most likely continue to get bumped up.

Also, just a warning for anyone who wants to check it out. "Tinker Trainer" is an OC-heavy story. Yeah, OCs in almost every other chapter. Many are recurring. I do realize that many, many people dislike original characters in fanfiction, but I can tell you right now that this story is not a "HiccupxOC slash fic" thing. All of my characters are in this for a reason, and that reason is to move the story forward. They're important, I try my very best to flesh out the more important ones, and the kind of story I wrote needs to have a lot of different characters.

P.S. Hey guys I know it's been quite a while since this was last updated (it's completed I know) but y'all can still feel free to leave comments! I'm always super happy to hear what you think! I check back in on the story every once in a while to make edits. Your reviews and comments are truly, deeply appreciated. Thank you to everyone who continued to read!

There was a comment on how Sjenna's name is pronounced. Just to end any confusion, it's "syen-nuh." the "J" is pronouned as a "Y." The same goes for Seljast.

The cover art was updated a while ago (In case anyone thought it looked familiar, no, it's not the artwork by christel2, it's an attempt I made at drawing a duplicate, but with some tweaks (so yes, I drew the cover art). If you click on the picture you'll see what I mean. If anyone's interested in what some of the character designs look like, try going on Google Image and typing in Tinker Trainer Slayer Spy. Some of the character concept art should show up. I think I made designs for Volva, Akkeri, Krista, and Sjenna.
