Author has written 2 stories for Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Game of Thrones, and Star Wars. I'm a fiction fan that doesn't tolerate laziness in a story. If you want to have a character do something, find a way for him to do it without acting out of character, completely ignoring laws of physics or laws of your world. Work at it till it's believable. There really is enough of lazy stories out there that disqualified themselves from being good when someone decided to cop out and speed up the process and glazed over the necessary setup. I really believe that when you come up to a wall it's healthier to figure out a way around it than plow through bricks head first. It may take you longer but your story will be that much stronger and without obvious plot holes and logical errors you will see what you're really worth. I don't read that much lately (well I read fanfics) because I read the Dresden Files and after that every book I read... the best thing I can tell about them is “It was really great... But it was no Dresden Files”. Seriously Jim Butcher has a way of making new, improved standards of “believable and logical” in fantasy that blow my mind. Well the Iron Druid kinda makes the stand at close second. Other than that as you could probably guess I'm one of the sci-fi/ fantasy fans, but my last favorite show is "Suits" so you know, as long as it's good. I love music. I may have preferences (ok very clear preferences) but I'll listen to anything really except most of hip hop and almost all of dubstep (ugh...). Also anything audio related is my passion. And well...
