About Me: Welcome, new and old readers! I am writing to thank you for your time and attention towards checking out my profile and stories. I am also writing to let you know that I will no longer be writing stories for this website. When I joined Fanfiction.net over 12 years ago, I was a 12 year old girl who was obsessed with the Kaiba Brothers. I didn’t think much of my stories, except that writing them brought me joy. I never thought of myself as a writer and I didn’t know what I would grow up to be. Now I have a Bachelor’s degree in English which has led me to discovering that I am not only passionate about the act of writing itself, but also the teaching of writing. My love for teaching is why I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Teaching of Writing and Literature so that I can become a college professor of English. Although Fanfiction.net isn’t responsible for all of the paths I have traveled, it is certainly responsible for the beginning… for the discovery of what I love and who I’m meant to become. It is because of this that I will no longer be writing fanfiction. I will always feel love for the experiences this site has given me, but it is time for me to grow in new directions and devote time to other creative projects. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the stories that I have posted over the years. Have a great day and a happy new year!

Quotes: "Happiness is an allegory, unhappiness a story."-Leo Tolstoy
"I write for the same reason I breathe--because if I didn't, I would die."-Isaac Asmiov
"When the writing is really working, I think there is something like dreaming going on. I don't know how to draw the line between conscious management of what you're doing and this state... I would say that's related to daydreaming. When I feel really engaged with a passage, I become so lost in it that I'm unaware of my real surroundings, totally invovled in the pictures and sounds that the passage evokes."-John Hersey
"Writing, I think, is not apart from living. Writing is kind of double living. The writer experiences everything twice. Once in reality and once in that mirror which waits always before or behind."-Catherine Drinker Bowen
"There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed."-Ernest Hemingway
"Being an author is like being in charge of your own personal insane asylum."-Graycie Harmon
"Writers are not just people who sit down and write. They hazard themselves. Every time you compose a book your composition of yourself is at stake."-E.L. Doctorow
"I am a writer and always was; being a writer is an integral part of my identity. Being published, being well regarded, is a component of that identity."-Brian Aldiss
"We write to taste life twice--once in the moment, and once in retrospection."-Anais Nin
"Honestly, has anyone else practically stalked you like this?"-AmePiper
Disclaimer: I never put one at the end of any of my stories. I'd like to have a better excuse for this but it's really only because I'm both lazy and forgetful. However, I would like to use this disclaimer for all my stories by saying that I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh! or any of its characters. Those belong to Kazuki Takahashi, the man whom created a series that made my childhood whole. The plot lines for these fan-based stories are, however, of my own creation and therefore, are mine.
