Hello, I'm kdhark! I'm female and 5'7". I play soccer for my college. I'm studying English for my major. I'm ambidextrous. I have brown hair and brown eyes, I'm slim and muscular, and at least in my eyes, I'm beautiful. I write fanfiction as a way to build my skills as a writer, and for the enjoyment of spinning stories about my favorite characters. The works I write fanfiction for do vary, I have a wide range of interests. Likely though, Criminal Minds, BtVS, Disney, and InuYasha. I hope you enjoy the work I have to share.

My views regarding reviews: While us writers are entitled to feedback when we post our works in public, we are not entitled to much feedback or good feedback. The feedback we receive should always depend on the work we share. Good work deserves good feedback, and lots of it. Mediocre work deserves mediocre feedback, and less of it. Bad work deserves bad feedback, and not much of it.

Quote: If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you'll find an excuse.

Couples:

Criminal Minds:

Reid-Strauss: I like them in a mother-son type of way for some reason. I think it's because when I was originally getting into the series, someone told me Reid had a motherly relationship with a character and I thought it was Strauss, and I was just kind of enamored by it. I do not put them together as a couple because that just seems kind of icky to me.

Penelope/Kevin: They're so geeky and cool, I just love them together. They're relationship is so sweet too. It has taken me the longest time to be able to call Kevin Kevin, he's still Xander to me from Buffy.

Penelope/Morgan: Yeah, I put these two together, which totally would make things awkward and break the brother-sister relationship they have, but they're just so at ease around each other that I don't mind these two in a romantic situation. Call me crazy, I don't care, but I like the idea of these two together so I will probably write a few of these.

Mostly though if I'm pairing anyone together in this series, it'll be with OCs since I really love the relationships they have as it is. I could probably stand Morgan/Reid because it seems kind of cool, and Hotchner/Reid in a kind of dark sense where Reid is subservient to Hotch. If you can't tell, I really love Reid. He is so adorkable. In general though, likely my stories for this fandom will be centered around Dr. Spencer Reid and the hunt for an UnSub. Or Schizophrenia because it's too good a plot point to pass up.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer:

Spuffy: I am die hard for this couple. Just oh my god, I love it sooo much. I love the kind of abusive relationship they have in earlier seasons, I love the dynamics that Buffy is actually the dominant rather than the submissive like so many females are, and I just love everything about this couple. Totally put them together, no doubt in hell.

Xander/Buffy: In earlier seasons only, before her relationship with Spike. It would mostly be puppy love, but I honestly don't see anything wrong with that type of relationship. After the earlier seasons, mostly high-school, maybe after season four, they are totally brother-sister to me and no I would never ship them.

Willow/Tara: I don't like Willow's love interest in season seven. She's just so... I don't know, pushy? b_tchy? Whatever, I really just don't like them. But I do love Willow and Tara as a couple. Joss Whedon, I hate you with all my heart for killing off Tara! WHY?! Why did you have to go and break up one of the most awesome lesbian relationships in all of TV and then have to replace with a totally mediocre one?

Those are the only pairings I like in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Xander/Anya is okay, nothing too spectacular. Willow/Amy is just kind of strange. Faith/Buffy doesn't make me leap with joy very much, but I think it's plausible if Spike stays dead and Buffy turns to faith for comfort. Same thing with Buffy/Willow. I hate Bangel with a passion. No, no, no. That is not my cup of tea, no thanks. I can stand the high-school sweethearts faze in Buffy the Vampire Slayer during the first three seasons, but I would never write it or read it. Just no. I really don't like Angel that much. I'm not the biggest fan of stoic guys actually, they're just kind of boring and that's how Angel is to me. They're typically nothing more than stoic, with few other defining character traits.

InuYasha

Naraku/Kagome: I've already made note of the fact I like dark couples, this is a dark couple. I really like the concept of it, but know that if and when I write stories for this couple, they will not be happy or fluffy. Just I don't see them as happy and fluffy. I see Naraku using and hurting Kagome, that's all.

Inuyasha/Kikyo: I like the tragic relationship of these two, and I really like how the two episodes of the anime that weren't in the manga that expanded on Kikyo as a character portrayed them. They're really sweet, perhaps doomed first love, and doomed in general, but I love them and totally support them as a coupe.

Sesshomaru/Rin: I'm quite aware of how platonic this couple in the confines of the series. Quite. Honestly, I see if any romantic inclinations developed here, it would be one-sided on Rin's side. I'm a romantic so I put them together happily, but I'm aware that they're platonic in canon, you don't have to tell me. And yes, I'm aware that Sesshomaru isn't the most original character ever, and he is stoic, but someone has pointed out that he isn't the most intelligent thing ever, and he has his issues with his father and his self-worth. He is a flawed character that is more than just stoic.

My best friend was the one who introduced me to this series, so some of my opinions are a bit biased towards hers, though not always. While I'm open to couples in this series, these are my main couples. I find that Miroku/Sango is only okay, nothing stand out. I find Inuyasha/Kagome boring. I'm simply not a fan of Kagura, so I'm not a fan of Sesshomaru/Kagura. I think personally that Kagura is just kind of a boring character, and the small amount of development she has is very rushed. She's pretty and a nice attempt, she is by far my least favorite of the cast of InuYasha characters.
