Update (Sept 2022)

I am finally writing! I am working on two Twilight Carlisle/Esme fics that I'm really happy with so far. If that interests you, please consider following me so you can read them when I post them!

What you can expect from my writing style:

I will usually stick to a canon or close-to-canon interpretation of the character's personalities and morals. That doesn't mean they will necessarily start the fic this way - they have to have room to develop after all! - just that you can expect characters to read at least somewhat close to their canon selves by the end (with some small variations).

I will always respect the canon sexual orientations. Straight in canon = straight here, gay in canon = gay here, etc. Example: Carlisle will always be interested in women Esme.

Canon pairings are a must for me. Period. There might be some temporary variation for the story's sake, but you can expect canon pairings by the end. Example: Carlisle will always end up with Esme.

Carlisle and Esme together... have I made this obvious yet? XD Seriously, I just love these two and want to develop them as characters, so they will likely be the focus of my writing for a while.

Mostly Happily Ever Afters. If I ever write a non-HEA, it will be clearly labeled in the story summary. That doesn't mean there won't be conflict, angst, etc.

There will be some sex... but it will be significant to the story and not overly detailed. (Honestly, finding the right balance for writing this kind of intimacy has been difficult)

No kink and no slash; I am just not comfortable writing either.

A little about me:

I'm mainly a Twilight Fanfic reader (though I am open to reading others). I will read most any kind, but it has to be canon pairings for me, especially where Carlisle and Esme are concerned (honestly, if they aren't together, I probably won't read it, it just makes me too sad).

I've read many other popular book series' (Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, Percy Jackson) but never got into reading fan fiction for them.

One of my favorite books of all time is Cormac McCarthy's The Road. I love his writing style, and like post-apocalypse fiction in general.

I also love video games. Favorite series' include: Legend of Zelda, MegaMan, Pokemon and Okami. I'll play almost anything besides sports and racing games.
