Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter, and Merlin.
My Tumblr name: SeaofKittens
(for any readers of my story "Present to Past," it is still up, but now with the name "My Lost Youth." Thank you for putting up with the long delays.)
I love writing and have loved fanfiction. My first story is a Harry Potter goes-back-in-time fic. I'm still writing it, I promise. I got stuck in a rut and have had to abandon pages of writing because they weren't working. And I often jump between fandoms where I will really focus on one fandom causing me to ignore the rest. Right now it's Merlin and I have surprisingly published two completed short stories for the fandom and have at least 3 longer stories that I'm considering writing on. Someday I'll get back to 'My Lost Youth' but as of now Merlin has taken over (and not too long ago it was Wreck-It Ralph that may also see some stories from me).
Fandoms I'm in: Merlin, Harry Potter, classic Doctor Who (esp 2nd Doctor), Master and Commander series, Lord of the Rings, My Little Pony, Wreck-It Ralph, Wicked, and I plan to get into Supernatural and Teen Wolf some day. I also have unwritten original stories about a woman soldier in the American Civil War and a story based on some old LARP characters.
I love reading, when I get the chance. I have never read a bad book (except "End Game"- but that's a play) and I especially love classics and historical fiction. In fact, I love history, particularly American history and the Civil War. Some favorite books/authors: Harry Potter, Shaara series, Mark Twain, Brian Jacques, Arthur Conan Doyle, My Sister's Keeper, The Old Man and the Sea, Lord of the Rings, Maturin/Aubrey series, and others I can't remember right now.
Fun fact: my name is a combination of two Hawaiian words, loosely translated as "sea of happiness"
Some favorite quotes:
“There are many things from which I might have derived good by which I have not profited, I dare say." -A Christmas Carol
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.”
"I have fallen in love in my life with so many pretty girls and never once the least bit with any man."
"You are the gull, Jo, strong and wild, fond of the storm and the wind, flying far out to sea, and happy all alone."
