Author has written 1 story for Inuyasha.
About me huh, well I'm from the US and i dabble in writing. I am currently working on several different pieces, all from different categories, but they wont be posted until i have a better idea of where I'm taking them. Right now they are all mostly plot bunnies.
I do have a current fic that i have been revising for a while now. It got away from me; it was supposed to be 5 chapters max. It is now in the 20's. Never fear though, I am working on it. But there will be no new chapters until i fix the ones already up. Especially the older ones!
I am a fan of several different categories which is obvious by my extensive Favorites which i might get around to cleaning up some day... yeah don't plan on that happening any time soon.
Firefly is my current Favorite with River and Mal being my favorite characters, they just have so much unexplored potential and mystery that it makes the author in me all twitchy with excitement! Wash is a close third but since he was killed off in Serenity his character is limited. Thats not to say Book, Inara, Zoe, Kaylee, Simon and Jayne arent important! I guess i just root for the underdogs and Mal and River are harder to pin down than the others. Their innerworkings are so conbobulated compared to the others it just makes peeling back the obvious layers so much more exciting. Not to mention that when you skip the obvious you end up with that something extra. For example Iara, she is a fan favorite but her character doesnt really motivate me and neither does her part in the plot. Thats not to say that there arent some killer fics out there with her as the focus...yeah ill just stop there.
Moonlight ok im not gonna lie I have a thing for Vampires, thats the major reason i got hooked... the other is Alex O'Loughlin. That in no way takes away from the story though! The show was cancelled, even though the actors did such a wonderful job, in such a way that left SO many plot-holes that i just cant let it go! It had such a good chemistry on camera and i thought the plot was good, despite the fact that it got changed so many times because of issues. Moonlights Universe just has so much potential, not to mention those plot-holes, that i keep going back to it... and lets not forget the Vampires!
W.I.T.C.H yeah im serious. I watched the first season and while the down right edited-kiddieness of it made me cringe something fierce i found it to have some serious potential. I also hunted down the comics and found them to be not as horrible as the cartoon. The characters have a good foundation and the potential for violence and angsty drama in their universe makes my fingers itch! Not to mention that all the characters just seem like so much fun to play with! Ahh what i could do them ...
Teen Titans Let me just say that as a HUGE fan of all things Batman, yes that does include Batman Beyond and The Justice League (TJL is only redeemable by the fact that Batman makes a semi-regular appearance), it would be a crime for me to NOT get into TT. Yes the one-liners were beyond corny and the characters were...semi-annoying at times but the original comic saved them from total kiddie-fodder. That and Nightwing, Slade and Trigorn made an appearance. Truthfully i just like Raven since we never get a conclusive answer about her powers or heritage and i read some awsome fics with her as the lead. Robin is a close second and thats only when hes away from Starfire (come on you cant tell me the Richard Grayson we all know and love could ever take her seriously!) and gets into his detective persona. He is so intense and violent and well dark as Nightwing that its such a shame he didnt have more interaction with Raven as Robin in this series.
Harry Potter ok let me just say that Rowling dropped the ball in the last book. Iv read better fanfiction, that makes allot more sense for crying out loud! I get that the books were for a younger audience so she was limited in the way it could end blah blah blah she broke form the kiddie genre the second she killed Cedric and The Order of the Pheonix came out. Harry got on my nerves in that book btw. The ending just bothered me. The entire 7th book bothered me, i could barley stand to read it! I kept falling asleep or my mind wandered etc etc... and it just felt wrong. Forced.
Inuyasha Yes i do agree that Inuyasha is the female version of Dragon Ball Z. Moving on! Its got so many plot twists and complications that it looks like the show will never die! The creator has been officially stated that were not even at the halfway point! I like a good series where progress is actually made instead of the limbo these guys find themselves in. That above anything else is what turned me off to the series. That and its a little too soft-core. So you add some character development and growth and a better plot besides the never ending quest for the shards and you've got a progress! or No more kiddieness. At least thats what iv found to be the basis for the better Inu fanfiction out there.
The Secret Garden this is the only category that has no violence in it just a heck-of-allot of drama. Im not sure what makes this fandom so interesting to me except the fact that i grew up with this book and when i looked it up there were a few, no really there arent that many killer fics out there in this fandom, great fics that got stuck in my head and so now its a favorite.
And thats all i have for now, back to cleaning out Favorite Stories since (YAY for miracles) i am done with the authors... there were more than i remembered and there are still more than i planned sigh oh well.
