Profile update for the 2023 year.

I will be going through my work and deleting a good chunk of works I'd like to either rewrite or fire out of a cannon and never see again. If a story you liked is gone, I'm sorry, but this is just how it is.

Reviews

I'm a writer who constantly seeks to improve his capabilities, and I actively encourage reviewers to give me their honest opinion about my work. Because of those reviewers who willingly spend their time trying to help me improve, I became inspired to do the same thing. I mainly give constructive reviews in the Fable, Elder Scrolls, and Pokémon fandoms, but I also review and write for others such as RWBY, Red vs. Blue, Halo, and Horizon Zero Dawn. I'm often busy doing standard reviewing or writing my own works, but you are free to request a review from me, as long as I'm familiar with the fandom.

If I said something in a review you didn't like, please understand I'm not trying to attack you or your work. I was merely pointing out something that seemed wrong to me. If a review from me is something you don't want, you are free to block me; I won't get offended by it. I simply believe that constructive criticism is better than the empty praise a lot of users on this site give, and you are free to PM me to clarify anything I said in my review. Should you choose to do so, please follow the third part of community etiquette:

"Respect the reviewers. Not all reviews will strictly praise the work. If someone rightfully criticizes a portion of the writing, take it as a compliment that the reviewer has opted to spend his or her valuable time to help improve your writing."

Also, before you try to report my reviews for 'cyberbullying' (yes, that has happened), take a look at this part of the guidelines:

"Not that harsh or critical reviews are not considered offenses. It is the right of the reviewer to like or dislike the story."

I'm a very gentle reviewer. I never say, 'Your story sucks!' or, 'Can I get a refund for reading this trash?' in my reviews. I will point out any errors I see and or things that could be improved upon, but I also will tell you what I liked about it. I love writing, and I enjoy helping out other authors around my fandoms. I want to see you improve.

Regarding trolls in reviews, I ALWAYS sign in when I review a story. If you received a guest review containing my name, know that you've just been had and it's a sad little troll with way too much time on their hands. You'll know it's really a fake if the review contains some BS about the forum TAPIR (which I'm NOT a member/regular poster of) or contains some offensive comment (racial slurs, etcetera). Personally, I hope this recent spam bullshit makes FFn give us the option to outright ban guest reviews entirely.

Because of my depression, sometimes I may go through long stretches without updating certain fics. I haven't abandoned them, so don't worry about that.

The only sport I actively watch is hockey. I am a diehard New Jersey Devils fan from birth, and will always support them, no matter how crappy they may be. Born in NJ, raised in NJ, and will gladly represent the curved horns and tail.

I have accounts on various other sites apart from this one. I'm on Fictionpress and Archive Of Our Own. I use the same username as I do here.

Now, onto the real reason for your visit: my stories.

I don't really have restrictions on what I write, especially considering the kind of crap I post on Archive Of Our Own. But I do have some things I just suck at. I'm horrible at threesomes, it is almost impossible for me to really write yaoi even though it doesn't bug me, and I have a problem with abuse stories despite it being my forte on Fictionpress.

Regarding challenges and requests, I am currently not accepting them. Please do not PM me regarding them; I have enough on my plate as it is and I don't need anymore new fics until some get finished.

Regarding any commissions, they are not yet open. However they will be once I get a few things worked out.

Now that we have that out of the way, let's get on to my stories in progress and their current status.

Agent Reach (Halo/Red vs Blue crossover)

Arguably my most successful story, this behemoth is finally being updated once again. I hope I can reach chapter 70 by the end of the year, for this is my first really big multi-year project and I want to wrap it up soon.

Joan Arc's Legend (RWBY/Fable crossover)

This crossover is basically a giant playthrough of Fable 3 with Joan Arc (femJaune) as our lead. Heavy emphasis on world building, lore, and character development. Expect very large chapters for this story.

Whispers of the Night (Elder Scrolls series)

The sequel to Shadows of the Heart. Undergoing rewrites.

The Savior's Wardrobe (Final Fantasy XIII)

A collection of short shots based around the idea that Light needs some time to appreciate the ridiculous clothing she acquires in Lightning Returns. Or completely hate it XD

Just Shepard Things (Mass Effect)

Series of oneshots for Mass Effect 2 and Commander Shepard being an ass.

From The Smallest Acorn (Fable/RWBY)

Set during Fable 1 and the official prequel to Joan Arc's Legend.

Nierembergia (Elder Scrolls series)

A story built around the Dawnguard, told through the eyes of a normal member of the Vigilants who signed up to become a vampire hunter. Follows the hidden sidequest from the Vampire Knights mod.

A Little Gnoming (Fable)

Just some Fable shitposting, about how the average Albion citizen sees the player character.

Into the Wilds (Pokémon)

A series of shots about how wild pokemon would actually be if they behaved like their real-life counterparts. You'll either hate or love your favorite mons. I'm not sorry but someone needs to be the villain and write it.

By Right of Birth (Elder Scrolls series)

Rough draft stage, centered around an avatar of the Wolf Queen Potema Septim during the events of Skyrim.

Impotes Mentis (Elder Scrolls series)

A short story of how being in the Shivering Isles wears away at the Hero of Kvatch's sanity during the events of Oblivion, leading them to help or hinder anyone they so feel as they slowly become the Madgod.
