Who am I?

I am a quiet, reserved person with a cynical outlook on life. I can be very antisocial at times, and I prefer to read at parties than to fraternize and mingle with others. I don't like to smile, but I don't frown either. My usual facial expression is an empty, dead gaze, devoid of any value or meaning.

I am fifteen years old (that would be tenth grade), around 5'7.5" tall, with dark brown hair and dark brown, almond-shaped eyes -- a person that you would most likely walk by in your school's halls without a second glance. I have been told that I am fair of face on occasion, but that doesn't mean much to me. My heritage is of mixed race: half Korean and half Caucasian. My favorite colors are deep, dark blues and blacks. I am not a 'prep', 'jock', 'goth', 'geek', and not a 'freak'. I am merely an outcast among outcasts. If you haven't been able to guess my gender by now, I am female. I love French (I don't have an English accent when I speak French, heh), although I am not very good at French grammar.

Don't get me wrong, though. I am, in reality, a nice person. If you ever need a beta reader (regretfully, this applies to Teen Titans fanfics only), feel free to e-mail it to me. I wouldn't mind reading it and sending back constructive criticism to you.

With that said and done, I'll move on to other things.

I have been around on much longer than you think I have been. I decided to join only recently because I was bored, and I had to set up an account anyways for my fanfiction-in-progress.

Reading is one of my favorite things to do. I adore fantasy books, and I generally read only those types of novels (with the occasional sci-fi). I recommend the following authors to you: Garth Nix, Mercedes Lackey, Orson Scott Card, L.E. Modesitt Jr., and Dennis L. McKiernan. If you ever have to read the book Moby Dick in the future, you have no idea how much I feel sorry for you.

As for music, I prefer Alternative Rock or just Rock, although I have been (rarely) known to be a sucker for a feminine pop song (ex. "All You Wanted" by Michelle Branch, "Why Can't I" by Liz Phair, and "More to Life" by Stacey Orrico..don't ask.). I like at least one of the songs from the following bands (in no particular order): Metallica, Static-X, AFI, Nirvana, Tool, Jack off Jill, Taproot, Smile Empty Soul, and Evanescence. Yes, there are more, but I cannot remember them at the moment.

The TV Shows that I generally enjoy are all, surprisingly enough, cartoons. Unfortunately, my house does not have cable. No Cartoon Network for me. My favorite cartoons are (in order of how much I like them): Teen Titans, The Simpsons, Fillmore, The Jackie Chan Adventures, and Yu-Gi-Oh. I would like for this list to be longer, but as I said earlier, I don't have cable TV.

I may currently not have any fanfics, but that will change soon enough, trust me. My first (and it's quite possible that it is going to be the only) fanfic is nearly halfway done, totaling at nearly 7,000 words as of right now. It will NOT be uploaded until it is finished. Two words: Teen Titans. *faint, wry grin*

Now, about Teen Titans. I am not afraid to admit that I am a sad, obsessed fan of the show.

I am a supporter of BeastBoy/Raven and Robin/Starfire. I'm sorry, Cyborg/Raven, Robin/Raven, and Starfire/BeastBoy (Where did you get THAT one? Honestly.) supporters, but it's not going to happen. A snowball in hell has a better chance of surviving than any those couples ever happening...although I do think that Cyborg -might- like Raven. Poor guy. Don't e-mail me hatefully saying that the above isn't true, it's just my own opinion on the matter.

Here are my reasons to believe that things will ultimately wind up as BeastBoy/Raven.

-The constant jokes of their conflicts put in the episodes by the writers
-"Nevermore". Remember Raven saying "You stayed? I thought you didn't like me." and then Beast Boy replying with "I thought you didn't like ME."
-"Nevermore" again. Beast Boy explained something to Raven, and once he ran off to do said explained thing, Raven smiled to herself.
-"Nevermore" yet AGAIN. This time it's when Raven blushed at Beast Boy and when Beast Boy's eyes twinkled at her at the end of the episode.
- They're shooting hearts at one another (their love/hate relationship). End of story.

Come to think of it, I don't think that I need to argue for Robin/Starfire. It's too obvious and too many people are already convinced of this for me to waste my breath.

As an unrelenting supporter of said two couples, I dislike reading any fanfics that center around said hated couples. My dearest apologies go to you if you have written one of those fanfics, but I simply can't stand them. BeastBoy/Raven, Robin/Starfire are the only couples that are ever going to happen. Deal with it. *deranged laugh*
