Author has written 8 stories for Inuyasha, and Fullmetal Alchemist.
Hi! Thanks for taking the time to read my profile.
I'm twenty years old, female, and in college. I'm in the jazz band and I love it. I hate the American Pie series for all the rude comments I receive weekly, and no, band camp is nothing like the movie. I'm a very hyper person who likes to ramble, read and write fan fiction, and I love making friends. I sometimes act younger than my age, but then again I sometimes act older than my age. I love my husband!
I love Full Metal Alchemist and the Death Note live-action movies (I don't care for the anime series all that much anymore. I prefer the movies.). My favorite characters are Edward and L, with Alphonse, Envy, Mustang, and Ryuk tying for second. I've recently gotten into the Zelda series again, and I can't wait to finish Twilight Princess so I can start working on my next fan fiction. Also, I love the Inheritance Trilogy (AKA the Eragon books) but the movie sucks. Just like almost all book-to-movies (Except Interview With The Vampire. They totally screwed up on Queen of the Damned though.)
I don't like most romance stories unless it has a good plot to go along with it. I don't like most of them, especially the more out there pairings, like non-parental RoyXEd or Light/RaitoXL. I think that unless a pairing (any pairing, mind you, not just yaoi/yuri) is specifically stated by an author(ess) in the canon, or it isn't hinted at, I don't really enjoy it. Everyone likes EdXWinry, but I only enjoy it if the relationship is developed over the course of the story. They didn't just fall in love with each other. Hell, Ed and Winry don't ever even mention their relationship in the anime, and by chapter 61 of the manga (which is where I'm at currently) only Winry has realized these feelings, but hasn't taken any steps to reveal them.
I'm not swearing off romance, in fact I usually enjoy a decent helping of fluff in my fictions, but I won't read it if it's just romance. There has to be a plot to go with it.
I prefer a good plot over writing skills. After all, everyone here started out with good ideas but not-so-great writing skills. I can deal with grammatical errors, poor phrasing, and bad word-choice if the plot is good.
Lately I've been reading just as much as I've been writing, possibly more so. I'm not a consistent reviewer, but I try. Dial-up is a major pain when trying to simultaneously read and review several stories. That's not an excuse; more of an explanation as to why I only review certain chapters or stories by an individual.
And remember: Keep plot-kitties fed or they'll attack you in your sleep!
I've found two stories that I think should be highlighted beyond my favorites list. Both are FullMetal Alchemist fictions, mainly because I haven't read anything but that in a year or more. I just recently got back into the series, and found a reason to write and read fan fiction for the first time in nearly two years.
Shadows by FullMetal Edward Well done and very much enjoyable. It has a unique style, feel, and plot. It is a very heart-wrenching story, especially on Edward's part. It just makes you want to cry from the emotions put forth. A major recommend for FMA fans who're looking for an awesome original story.
Driven by Black Haiyate Another wonderful and original story I've found here. It's very well written and has an intriguing plot line and draws you into the story arch that could have happened in the series. Very detailed and lovable original characters that are important, yet not over-dominating. Again, major recommend to FMA fans looking for a well-written story.

No matter what happens today, remember this: Nothing has ever been promised to us. We can't predict the future. We can't prevent our deaths. Death is nothing to be feared, whatever your religious preference. But we can't just sit around and wait for death. We can't bring death to ourselves. Because Death brings sadness, no matter if you think your death will or won't. It brings sadness no matter how insignificant you think you are. Because we all matter, to someone. The last thing this messed up world needs is more sadness. So let Death come when Death is supposed to come, and don't bring it on earlier than it's supposed to be. Don't bring more sadness into the world. We're fucked up enough without it.
