Here's what's happening:
I am hesitant to put Return of the Med-jai on hiatus, as I really want and still plan to finish it. However, I seem to have lost my inspiration, and cannot promise updates in the near future. Apologies to the many fans of the story! You all rock, and I hope my muse returns to me soon.
Who the Hell Are You? is finally finished! Hooray! The sequel, Lonely Is the Night, is now up.
Jump the Shark is on hiatus. I've lost my inspiration. Hopefully, it will return soon, as I really wanted to finish it.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Bloody Water is undergoing extensive revisions. I'm not sure how major these revisions might be. As such, the sequel Aqua de Vida will not be updated until my revisions are complete. (This fic is officially on an indefinite hiatus)
Long Hard Road Out of Hell is officially on an indefinite hiatus.
That's all I've got for now. Thanks for stopping by!
PS: One of my readers created an RPG using Self Esteem for its basis:

poorpiratelass's fanfiction philosophy - nay, her writing philosophy in general: In the words of my often annoying and yet surprisingly wise younger sister; you can't please everyone. No matter what you do, someone's not going to like it. Someone's going to complain. So you might as well just do whatever the heck you want to do. (Of course, this comment was not provoked by fanfiction, as she's not a fanfiction type gal; it was actually provoked by a male enhancement commerical... but it still holds) So, don't worry about what people are going to think. Just write what you want to write. But try and write it well.
