Author has written 4 stories for Song of the Lioness.
My most currently updated story (and my favorite!), Shadows See All, is about Francis during Alanna the First Adventure. This is Francis's observant point of view of Alanna's first year of page training. Mildly humorous, AU. The first couple chapters are about the odd things Francis notices about his friend Alan. Definitely a fun fic to write because I get to take a pretty much ignored minor character and turn him into who I found him to be from what little I know. Can't wait to write the ending, if I ever get the time to update...aw well summer's just around the corner!
I also have a story called "Raka Revenge". I started writing it a while ago and now it kind of makes me laugh. I'm not sure if I'll ever finish, maybe if I'm ever really bored. Daine heads over to the Copper Isles to spy on the rulers there who are insane and are going to attack Tortall. She unfortunately gets captured, but escapes with the help of a mysterious girl. That's all I know right now though, I'm kinda making it up as I go along
And now I have my first one shot, Something More than 'Sarrasri', although if I ever get around to finishing my other fics (I'm a procrastinator, what can I say?) I might make it a full fledged story. Basically, just about her granda and his cousin discussing Daine's future.
Rival Blades is another of my one-shots. It's a little piece that adds insight into the love/hate relationship between George and his right hand man Marek Swiftknife before they controlled the Rogue. Told from Swiftknife's perspective.
Things you should know: I can't spell, and I probably never will be able to. Spell check is my best friend, but it can miss stuff so sorry for my errors. I love everything by Tamora Pierce set in Tortall. I've read the Circle of Magic books, but I'm not really a big fan. I'd say right now, my favorite books are Trickster's Choice and Trickster's Queen. Aly just seems a lot more real than the other ladies of Tortall, and I like how she works behind the scenes.
Also, I don't respond to every review I get. However, if you have a major question (one that won't spoil the ending!) or some CC, I'll probably respond to thank you or answer said question. As to my own reviews, well they tend to be long and I include quite a bit of constructive criticism, but constructive being the key word. Just because I make suggestions, doesn't mean that I don't like your fic. If I take the time to write it all out, I want you to update and I want more people to love your fic too.
Those are the basics for now!
