January 21, 2007: Yes, I am aware that I haven't updated "Valentine". I'll update it when I have time. Stop harassing me.
Hey! This page is finally updated. It's like a miracle. (Almost as much of a miracle as me passing history…) Anyway, I'm actually not procrastinating by writing this. I'm just bored. And since my computer is slow, it only loads the profile of an author before loading the list of all the stories said author has written. I don't know if that applies to you, but if it does here's some interesting information to keep you occupied.
"It's all about me! Me, me, me!" ~Cordelia Chase (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
Actually, it's all about me, Emma. Such a great name. It's short for Emily. My name is not actually Jane. I liked that whole concept of "See Dick/Jane x", so I stole it. I got the idea to steal it after seeing ABC Channel's version of See Jane Date (with Charisma Carpenter, which is why I still keep the Cordelia quotation to explain myself). Anyway, I'm seventeen. I'll be a senior in (an all-girls) high school this fall (go class of '07!). I'm quirky, crazy, neurotic, obsessive…And none of those things are bad! Seriously! Anyway, I do love writing my fan fiction. I love watching my television.
"I love TV. It's my hobby." ~Maria Lark
Yep. Media literacy sets in already. I've always loved my television. It started small, and has gone out of hand. I'm obsessive about almost all of my shows. Of course, that statement is the biggest understatement known to man. I'm obsessed, and it’s more than slightly scary.
Favorite TV shows no longer on the air: Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Charmed, Cheers, Conviction, Dharma and Greg, Firefly, Frasier, Freaks and Geeks, Friends, Full House, Inconceivable, Joey, Just Shoot Me, Law and Order: Trial by Jury, Miss Match, Point Pleasant, Sex and the City, Summerland, Third Watch, Tru Calling, Will and Grace
Favorite TV shows still on air: Bones, Close to Home, Desperate Housewives, ER, Grey's Anatomy, How I Met Your Mother, Law and Order, Law and Order: Criminal Intent, Law and Order: SVU, Medium, NCIS, The New Adventures of Old Christine, The Office
"I spend 23 hours a day wondering if we're right for each other…By the 24th hour, I realize I've been thinking about you all day." ~John Carter (to Abby - CARBY FOREVER, ER)"Hi. We're very busy."
I do like the romance. It's all very interesting. I could list all the couples I love, but that would seriously take too much time. Instead, I will just say that I love a wide variety of couples. From what I write, it should be evident which ones I like best. However, I like almost anything. I like the standard ones, and then I pair the characters up at random (i.e. Cordelia/Drusilla). I blame Michelle for manipulating my mind. I always think of the most random things. And of course, not all of it is "real" love. For the fact that I even know this, I blame my religion teacher. She's corrupted us all into being her slaves.
"I wrote a poem once. There once was a man named Blenis…" ~Joey Tribbiani (Joey)
I certainly am unique. I love being unique. Some of my stories are more unique than others, obviously. With my weird mind, it's hard to predict what I will cook up next. And there are defining characteristics to my writing. I like to reference an actor/actress's prior works in my stories in connecting to them (i.e. all my references to Lilith in my Trial By Jury fics…). I was the first one to post Joey fan fiction, and the second to post Conviction fan fiction. Most unique is my characters/ideas created in one story that go to another.
1. Alex Cabot's second Witness Protection identity: I've created it as Sarah Melanie Clemens. Sarah lives and works at Anne Arundel County Hospital in Annapolis, Maryland. The primary reason for that location is because I live in the D.C./Annapolis/Baltimore part of Maryland. It's my regionalism shining through all my usual New York-based fics. Different stories have slightly different versions of who Sarah is, or why Alex is Sarah. I originally created Sarah for "Home". Now it's mentioned in other fics, and it's just part of my version of Alex Cabot (unless my story is set pre-"Loss"/"Ghost"). If you want to use any of it (name or location), contact me. I don't bite.
2. Alexandra Serena Benson-Stabler (aka Lexy): I love my Lexy. She is Olivia's daughter as the product of a rape in "Like Mother, Like Daughter". She will be in more stories to come. I can guarantee it. And no one else can use her.
"I wear the cheese. It does not wear me." ~Cheese Guy (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
I love cheese. I do not love it as much as Ruth does, but I love cheese all the same. There are numerous references to cheese in various stories. I don't know how many times, but it's a good amount.
~Old Christine (The New Adventures of Old Christine)
Ok, there could be times of delay in updating. Do not think it is because I do not love you all since I do. If the delay is between September and May, then it is probably a school-related reason. It could be vacation or mere writer's block.
