Author has written 9 stories for White Collar.
The usual disclaimers: These stories are for fun, and I have no ownership of the characters borrowed from television.
Many thanks to the kind and talented Leesa Perrie for my profile icon. I requested an image from White Collar season 3 episode Taking Account. I couldn't be happier with the results.
I’m a fan of many shows, but have been writing only about White Collar. However, the stories include references to many other fandoms, including Harry Potter, Star Trek, Star Wars, Pride & Prejudice, Emma, Casablanca and The Wizard of Oz. In this same AU, Silbrith also references the Cthulhu mythos.
The Caffrey Conversation AU started with a story I posted in the autumn of 2013. In the following weeks I thought I’d write one follow-up story, but came to realize that several of my other ideas could be made to fit within the AU, resulting in a series about a version of Neal Caffrey who gave a confession for immunity instead of going to prison. In early 2014 I was fortunate enough to acquire a beta who soon graduated to co-author of the AU; she posts under the name Silbrith, and is taking the AU in wonderful new directions. Silbrith initiated our use of Pinterest, with boards for each story. You’ll find our boards if you search Pinterest for Penna Nomen or for Silbrith’s Stories. We also have a blog: pennasilbrithconversation . blogspot . com
It’s helpful to remember that Neal and Peter in this AU are ten years younger than we knew them at the end of the series. They are less mature, and make mistakes due to lack of experience. However, they are also more open to learning from their mistakes.
