Thank you for visiting my profile :) I am very excited to be writing fanfiction again, as I had taken a break for quite a few years in order to focus more on my own original fiction. While I still continue to pursue my own personal writing goals, the allure of fanfiction has captured me once again, and I am very much looking forward to revising some of my old work as well as publishing new stories.

My primary fandom I write for is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I do write the Turtles as being extremely close and having a very strong bond with one another, and I do strongly support April/Casey. I may occasionally include aspects of their relationship every now and then, however I still largely prefer to focus on other aspects of the series, especially the unique familial relationships among the brothers and Splinter.

I write the Turtles primarily based off their four film depictions, as I prefer the more gritty and darker representations as seen in the first and fourth films. Likewise, I always write Splinter's origins as a pet rat accidentally mutated from the Ooze after the death of his owner, Hamato Yoshi. Similarly, I always write April and Casey as they are depicted in the first film, with April as a young woman in her late 20s working as a television news reporter living over her father's old antique shop, and Casey as a young adult as well, prowling the streets at night with his own warped sense of justice. The Shredder and the Foot Clan will also be written as they are shown in the first film, a powerful human ninja with a deep score to settle against Splinter and all he represents.

I will include certain elements and plot points from the 2003 4Kids cartoon series, the current Nickelodean animated series, as well as the current IDW comic, and tie them all together to form one continuous storyline as opposed to writing for many parallel universes . More specifically, I will borrow 4Kids' depiction of Leatherhead and his close friendship with Donatello, and other story arcs including Donatello's second mutation, The Battle Nexus Tournament (including Usagi), aspects of Fast Forward, Same As It Never Was and related episodes, and The UnderGround. From the IDW comics, I will likely limit what I borrow as much of it conflicts with my own personal representation, however Old Hob has a high chance of making an appearance, especially with his history of separating Raph from his brothers for a significant amount of time. At the moment I am predominantly borrowing certain physical traits of the Turtles from the Nickelodean show, including Raphael's cracked plastron, Donatello's tooth gap and Michelangelo's freckles. I have yet to find a significant plot point or personality change which strikes me enough to include them, though that's certainly subject to change as the series progresses.

Lastly, if it's of any interest, my favorite Turtles are Donatello and Raphael :)

I do believe that just about sums up all I have to say on my stories! I am toying with the idea of someday broadening my fandoms and writing for a few others that also strike me with inspiration, such as My Little Pony (Gens 1-4) and Teen Titans. However, as each story requires a good deal of time and planning, I will likely limit the number of longer fics to prevent becoming overwhelmed.
