Author has written 7 stories for Melanie Rawn, Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings, Shakespeare, and Silmarillion.
Hello all! Or few, or whoever comes across this. I'm not so good with autobiography, but I'll take a whack at it. I'm a girl and I like writing fanfiction. (See what I mean?) My personal weakness is for The Lord of the Rings, and a lot of my LOTR stuff is at theonering.com (formerly tolkienonline.com, sniff sniff). I'm (always) just coming out of a fanfiction hiatus, so here are my story stats:
Sunrunner's Fate is probably not going to be completed. I don't have the heart to delete it because I love the premise, but apparently Melanie Rawn's got this big thing against fanfiction about her books. However, if anyone likes it, you're welcome to try convincing me to change my mind.
The Commodore's Daughter is COMPLETED! Yay! It's probably going to be my only POTC fic, though - I slogged it out trying to make Jack "right," and I don't relish the thought of doing that again.
Snaga of Mordor is FINALLY all up here! It and its sequel, Scion of Snaga, are up at theonering.com if anyone's interested. A few canon edits have to be done to it, however. I do intend to do those - unfortunately, my soul belongs to college, so time is a precious and all-too-rare commodity.
Madness in Great Ones is up for grabs at this point. I started it on an impulse, and now the idea of tackling "Hamlet" is intimidating me. If you like it, leave me a review - it might convince me to change my mind and start work on it again.
Scion of Snaga is finally all up! Many thanks to Moromu for catalyzing it, and to Rana-Minethlos at theonering.com for getting me to finish the damn thing in the first place.
The Greatest Price and The Choices of Elros pretty much speak for themselves. They're my first foray into Silfics, and I really like them as one-shots, so unless I get an overwhelming urge to research Elrond and Elros' entire lives, I'll probably leave them alone. (Can't say the same for the Feanorians, though...)
Future fanfiction plans? Usually a bit tricky. I have on and off phases with fanfiction - sometimes I'll get super obsessed, and sometimes I won't write anything for years at a time. At the moment, the play I'm in owns my soul, as well as my time, but when I start up again it'll be Sil-related. I'm mildly obsessed with the children of Hurin, so I may write something on them. Even though I lent my copy of The Children of Hurin to a friend, and so lack a detailed reference point. Curses on my urge to spread good literature!
