Well, after much hemming and hawing and time-wasting, I have finally posted my first bit of fanfiction in the form on the "War of the Raven" prologue. Hopefully now that school's almost over I'll get my butt in gear and not wait so long between writing and posting.

Hi! Thanks for visiting my little area of ^_^

I'm MM, short for methodic madness, I'm 23 and about to finish grad school, which I think makes me one of the older authors on . ^^;

Anyway, you may have noticed by now that the "Stories Authored" section of this page is suspiciously blank. Well, here's the deal: After something like 7 years of reading fanfiction, I've finally started writing my own! I went ahead and registered on , because having an account here gives me a little more motivation to work on my fics.

Currently I'm working on two stories:
1)"The War of the Raven" - A Princess Tutu fanfiction that details the Prince's battle against the Monster Raven in Drosselmeyer's book. This is my first fic and my pet project, so I'm really hoping it turns out well. Unfortunately, I've done the prologue and hit a major case of writer's block 3 paragraphs into the first chapter... ^^;

2) A post-Gluhen AU Weiss Kreuz fic, as yet untitled, which I am cowriting with a friend. More details forthcoming as we get them worked out...

I'm also currently part of a Fushigi Yuugi online RPG on LiveJournal (found at /~fyrpg_tas), where I am playing the parts of Hotohori and Ashitare (can you imagine two more different characters? o.O). Posting for the characters is a lot like writing fanfiction, and the story, while just starting right now, is already taking some interesting twists and turns away from the canon plot, so I encourage anyone who's interested to go check it out!
