Hi everyone, I started as a lurker here quite a while back and I decided give it a shot at writing. I've had a couple of stories I wanted to try writing out but while I can think up major parts of a story I still have problems with padding, small parts, vocabulary and grammar. Despite this I hope to write out the stories I've got on my brain and maybe receive help, criticism and reviews to turn me into a better writer.

Code Geass

I am a big fan of Code Geass, it's one of my favorite anime and I enjoy reading the stories that pique my interest. I've read quite a bit about everything I could find about the anime on the internet. Despite this however I've grown to dislike certain things about the original anime that annoys me; there's only a few things in the first season I didn't like, just little nitpicks here and there that annoyed me (I may have to watch the first season again to find them all and list them). The second season, however, I really hated (there were a lot of things that annoyed the hell out of me after I thought it all over in my head which are to numerous to mention).

I definitely hated how the beginning and ending was handled, after plenty of research I discovered that Code Geass was screwed by the network (yes I read tv tropes as well), how was it screwed? Turns out that its original time slot was replaced by power rangers. Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against power rangers, but since its time slot was changed, Sunrise changed their original plans for season 2 and changed it so the new audience wouldn't get confused.

All the original plans went downhill from there and it eventually snowballed into what is now known as season 2. The original beginning was actually going to start from where season 1 left off; Lelouch shoots Suzaku (and succeeds in hitting him despite the 'live on' command, then again the beginning was probably still in the planning stages), this is the only info they released on the original beginning.

Other plans they had for season 2 included Lelouch joining the Black Knights as himself and rising up the ranks while someone else was Zero (the person planned was going to be Jeremiah's little sister apparently) and entering in an election against Schneizel for the position of Prime Minister of Britannia (I have no idea how they planned to pull this one off but it would have been interesting to see).

Other screw ups and annoyances I have decided to put into a list. (sorry if the list gets long and annoying, but I've never ranted this off to anyone before)

Handling of certain characters: Some characters were handled fine while others were ruined; Schniezel for example was turned into a sociopath (not sure if that's the right word) near the end of R2 who planned to have the world forced into peace through the threat of destruction. (This wouldn't have been a problem if they actually left hints about this through R2, which they didn't)

Ideas that were wasted: Their were some things in R2 that would have been awesome, which they didn't use; an example would be the Ganymede. To explain, the Ganymede was the first working prototype Knightmare Frame used by the first pilot Marianne the flash, Nina had brought it and was going to modify it and... that's it. It was only brought up once in conversation, glossed over and forgotten about.

The anime was short despite all the material: There was so much they could have covered had the anime been longer (I've noticed that the majority of anime have this problem with rare exceptions), in fact this might very be a contributing factor to the wasted ideas. There was so much that was not only not explained but also glossed over (such as the whole Geass and Codes thing)

That's pretty much all I can think of at the moment so I'll put my favorite and non favorite Characters.

Favorite Code Geass Characters:

Lelouch: I don't know how to explain it but Lelouch is my most favorite character out of Code Geass. I don't know why but his just my most favorite, I apologize for this but I just can't really explain. ':-)

Non favorite Code Geass Characters:

Kaname Ohgi: I really hate this character with a passion and I can easily list why. Ohgi is the reason the Black Knights betray Zero (he gets the Black Knights to betray Zero by first listening to Villetta Nu (despite the fact she's britannian and worked for their military) and then using the 'prove' she gave him to convince the Black Knights to betray him) does an under the table deal with a britannian prince to reclaim Japan (which is not only a betrayal of the UFN and everything they stood for but a very stupid risk and gamble that in the real world wouldn't have worked (you can tell I've thought about this a lot) I mean, what was stopping Schniezel from 'saying' he agreed only to not follow through?).

He used the sister of he's dead 'best friend' (its in quotes because I highly doubt they were best friends if he was willing to do something like that (I sure as hell wouldn't) not to mention that he also saw her as his 'own sister' (in quotes again for the same reason)) to lure Zero down to a trap the core black knights had set up, didn't say anything when the other core members threatened to shoot Kallen when she was standing in front of Zero trying to defend him. (I've checked to make sure, he literally didn't say or do anything to show he was upset about possibly having to shoot her)

Despite being the one to make the deal with Schniezel he didn't do anything to stop the core members from killing Zero (the deal was Lelouch being traded for Japan, the gist I got was that Schniezel wanted him alive (whether to execute him, keep him prisoner or force him to work for Britannia is unknown)) and worst of all he got one of the best endings out of all the characters. The only other Character I don't like is Villetta from the original anime. There are some fanfics that portray her in a way that make me like her though.

Ohgi, however, will always be my number one most hated Code Geass character no matter what, however when I get around to writing fanfics I will try my best to not bash the creator's pet, keyword being try, but don't expect anything good happening to him. Phew, man did it feel good to get that out of my system, there's probably but I think the list is long enough already.

Now comes the list of Fanfics that I'm planning to write for Code Geass:

Code Geass: Lelouch of the reconstruction (AU)

This will be a big one, as the name implies, this fanfic will be a reconstructed version of Code Geass and an alternate Universe. Don't worry about it being totally AU though, a lot of hings will still be the same, I will however be trying out a few different experiments and ideas that have I have in my head that not that many authors have tried, some of them haven't even been used or seen before (from the ones that I read anyway). This fanfic will be long project and I still need to plan things out for a while (I do have a lot of things ready for it though)

Code Geass R3: Relapse of War

This one is my own sequel to the original anime and deals with not only how stupid the ending is (there is no way the Zero Requiem would work and there are many many people who agree with this) but a few plot ideas that I would like to see written. While this won't be as long as the Reconstruction, I still have to plan things out for this one,

Code Geass: Renowned Legends of Britannia

I came up with this one after some thinking and while I've seen legends used in Code Geass fanfics I came up with my own ideas which I have never seen been used or tried (I have checked and I'm still surprised that what I'm thinking of hasn't been tried) and while the name may give away some things there are still certain points which are important to the fanfic that haven't been given away. This one also needs work planning out.

Code Geass R3: Kallen's Resolution

While its another sequel this one is vastly different then the other, all I can tell you is that it looks at difference and change, the ripples of a rock thrown into water, the cracks on a glass window. One of the key things is the trope: For want of a nail. This one will need a lot of work and if people are interested there may be a spin off.

You may have noticed that all the titles have R words in them, that's just me being me weird self (normal is overrated). I hope I don't disappoint anyone who bothers to read my fanfics and would appreciate pointers and maybe some help. I have a long way to go before I'm a good writer but until the I hope everyone likes my fanfics.
