Hello all, I am Elizabeth.
I am Elizabeth who should really be doing her homework, but who is reading fanfic instead. I am also changing my biography yet again, which is what I'm doing right now.
So ... a biography. Hmm. There's not really much to say, actually. If you want to check out my original fiction, I'd be much obliged. It's www.fictionpress.com/~romanticidiot.
This is my account in which I mostly pair Draco and Hermione together from Harry Potter. I don't think I write much more than that in here because I was introduced to fanfic through Harry Potter and that seems all there is to write, although I know it's actually not.
If you want some oh so disgusting /Rolls eyes in annoyance and sarcasm/ slash fanfic then you can try www.fanfiction.net/~secretslashyness. It's got quite a few Sirius/Remus fics on it now. But please don't flame me if you don't like the pairing.
I got a flame today, which is the reason why I decided to change this. See, it was on a fic that I'm having trouble writing so I don't know when I'll get to update and reply to the flamer so I'm going to do it here instead. The review was on 'The Joys of Speed Dating' and here is my response:
Flame review transcript:
From reading your summary, I would just like too say that you are a sick minded
Thank you so much for your extraodinarily eloquent review. I can see that you are a very insightful person to tell from just reading a summary how good a story is and I hope you progress far with judging books by their cover.I also hope you learn that it is my own - and anyone else's - right to write whatever we like. If you don't like it, you don't have to read it. If you find that your darling little eyes have been soiled by a terrible summary that is going to haunt you for the rest of your life, I would suggest that you are the one who needs to see a shrink about your deranged brain, not myself.
I would also like to point out that you must be a very small minded person who has perhaps been locked away in a tower and abused so that you can't appreciate love for what it is? Otherwise you would see that love is love, in whatever form it may come in. I don't really even know which pairing or what part of the plot (that you discovered from my summary because you are so good at knowing things before you read them) you are objecting to, but I shall tell you that if a good girl falls in love with a bad boy, it is love. If two males fall in love with one another, it is love then, too. You have no right to dictate what love is, what form it comes in or how it feels. If you are objecting to the plot, then I suggest you take a look around because speed dating is happening. Oh, sorry, have I offended your sensibilities? I am so terribly sorry. Please forgive me. But don't fall in love with me because that would be wrong.
I would also like to say that if you are going to send a flaming review, I suggest that you learn the english language. With the way you have formatted your review, 'get a clue, aligindahouse', you have just told yourself to get a clue.
To end this, I would just like to point out that you think you told me to get a clue. I would like to ask what kind of person uses a name that is someone else's invention and represents a white man portraying a black man. Wouldn't that be considered deranged? So personally I think it is you who needs to get a clue, not me.
I hope everyone enjoyed that response to my new favourite flamer and I hope you enjoy any of the deranged stories you choose to read.
Love always (only not a deranged kind of love, we wouldn't want that),
